Provision of facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children during out of school hours

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the residents of Allen's Cross and surrounding neighbourhood; aiming to bring together residents, businesses, statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations to make social, educational and leisure facilities available to all.

3.1 TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR INDOOR CLIMBING AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING PHYSICAL HEALTH AND FITNESS; 3.2 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR SPORT, RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF SUCH PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL

To provide Sports and Leisure facilities for the people of Watton and surrounding areas.

Sturfit provides leisure facilities to foster the health and well-being of the people of Sturminster Newton and the surrounding area. Sturminster Newton Lesiure Centre is accessible to all members of this community and wide participation is encouraged. The Centre offers a range of exercise classes, fully equipped gym and is host to many sporting clubs and societies. It is staffed by volunteers.

The charity provides sport and recreational facilities on the Whiteparish Memorial Ground, Whiteparish, Salisbury, Wilts, for the general public and children and young people.

The organisation carries out its purposes through the provision of the following services/activities:-- encouraging the development of leisure activities within local communities;- providing football coaching workshops; and- providing educational/skill based workshops to help teach communication of the English language.

Entertainment provided to local persons

Providing activities to keep the elderly fit, healthy & interacting with others, including our Tuesday Events, Knitting & Computers for stimulation, companionship & entertainment. PhysioFit, Yogo, Pilates & Keep Fit for health & wellbeing for the over 55's. We offer a freshly cooked meal on weekdays and run a Memory Group which provides a safe environment while providing respite for caregivers.

To provide the necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children aged 4-11 years during out of school hours. To advance the education and training of persons in the provision of such care, education and recreational activities.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilties for the playing of tennis in Marlborough and the surrounding area.We have 6 courts, 4 with downlighting to allow evening use when daylight has faded. The courts are located on Marlborough Downs at Port Hill Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1DU, next the Golf Club, using the same entrance.

The provision of play and recreational facilities and activities for children and adults with disabilities and their families.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN MERSEYSIDE IN ALL THE PLASTIC, VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS AND LITERATURE AND TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE.WORK ON A DAILY BASIS WITH YOUNG PEOPLE TO ASSIST IN THEIR DEVELOPMENT AS ACTIVE CITIZENS.

To support disadvantaged young people, by providing advice and assistance and organising activities that will: - help young people develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society in full- provide education , training & employment support- deliver health and well-being activities including recreation, leisure and sport activities .

To provide a stimulating Day Opportunities Programme, including education, training and work opportunities in preparation for employment. To develop a vibrant and recreation programme. To provide Supported Living where everyone feels they belong.

The Centre is seen as somewhere local people of all ages and capabilities can pursue leisure and recreational pastimes as well as offering the kind of environment where they can learn new skills.

To promote the health & wellbeing of the residents of Silsden and the surrounding area through the provision of facilities which encourage educational, sporting & social recreational activities in Silsden Town Hall for all age groups.

To advance Islamic education, provide facilities for recreation and leisure occopation of Muslims of the area and in particular Bangladeshi Muslims. BICS other objectives include fostering goodwill and harmonious relations with other ethnic communities.

Travel Hands charity relieves the needs of Visually Impaired People (VIP) by facilitating safe, convenient, and inexpensive outdoor travel so they can attend formal appointments, recreational activities and community events.Travel Hands eases the outdoor commute of VIP by pairing them with sighted & verified volunteers to walk together to similar destinations.

The provision of a drop in centre providing social and recreational facilities, advice and support for adults with learning disabilities.
