Educational and recreational.

We provide the clubhouse for social meetings and for informal leisure pursuits such as playing cards. We also rent out the clubhouse for one-off events such as parties. Organised activities are whist, crown green bowling, with ladies, mens and mixed teams, tennis on hard courts, indoor short-mat bowls and ladies darts. Cash bingo takes place on Monday and Saturday evenings.

The provision of facilities for Sport and Recreation.

Leisure & Learning delivers a range of inclusive leisure, learning and wellbeing programmes. Our purpose is to promote community wellbeing, to provide pathways to further education and jobs, to turn our much loved buildings into vibrant, collaboratively managed, community spaces and to encourage people to contribute and make a difference to what matters in our community.

We provide Educational, Recreational and Leisure Activities for retired and semi-retired people living in High Lane and the surrounding area. We have over 400 members. There are no obstacles to joining; no qualifications are needed and there are no exams. We try to meet the educational and social needs of our members whilst providing a safe and secure environment for the members to meet.

The Charity promotes community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of Real Tennis. The Charity also promotes the conservation, preservation and improvement for the public benefit as a building of historic interest the Real Tennis Court at Petworth, and education of the public about the history and heritage of the building.

Hunwick CC are a multi-function club in that our facilities are used by a variety of people, causes and groups operating in Hunwick and surrounding areas. We use our facilities for sporting benefits; such as cricket, athletics and football. We also have other leisure based activities such as local schools festivals as well as community based events such as social evenings for the entire community.
