We act for the local community. We hold social events for all the community such as disco's, bingo, including a playgroup and an over 60's club. We have a club house for members where we show live sport on both Sky and BT Sport. Castle Colts football club is affiliated to the Association.We have other activities such as Zumba, KungFu, Kick Boxing, Bootcamp and Slimming World.

The Sensory Place provide a wide range of inclusive activities for disabled children and their families across Sunderland, County Durham and surrounding areas. This includes social, leisure and sporting activities. We provide safe and non-judgemental spaces where everyone is able to be themselves and where families can meet other likeminded families. We also provide courses for parents and carers.

ITC Tamil centre was formed to advance the rich heritage of the Tamil culture through an education programme to all the communities particularly to the younger people. It does this by organising regular classes in Tamil language, music and dance, by providing public performances and workshops, by celebrating cultural festivals. It also provides recreational and sports activities.

We run a series of recreational activities to promote wellbeing and to help reduce social isolation. Arctic One aims to give opportunities to both able bodied and disabled people to enable them to "Get Involved" in Sport. In addition to this we are exploring the benefits of sport on cancer-related diseases. We have raised funds to purchase prosthetic limbs for people who need them to be active and have set up activities for those with disabilities.
