A rural youth movement for members aged between 10-26 years. YFC offers young people the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in public speaking, sports, cultural skills like dancing, drama, entertainments, pantomime and stockjudging, skills for life, training, social events and meetings.

Provides a range of practically based activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts: for example educational, sporting and environmental. Activities are either based in the HQ or are undertaken during trips away either on a daily basis or on field camps.

COMPETITIVE GOLF PROGRAMME FOR DISABLED PLAYERS

The village hall provides a space for community social events. Other activities for which the hall is used include table tennis, tai chi and youth club. The hall is also available to hire as a camping barn for groups of 2 to 15 people.

Providing capital expenditure for sporting facilities within the local area

The Seals-Solihull Swimming Club for the Disabled- exists to provide an opportunity for physically disabled members and those with learning disabilities in the Solihull area to enjoy a swim every Monday evening(except Bank Holidays) during a private session at the local pool. Social activities are also included in the Club's calendar of events.

General social activities for the community including providing space for youth club

The fund raising activities include: Christmas Fayre, school discos, Autumn/Easter craft events, book fairs, school sponsored walk, sports day refreshments, art projects, mobile phone collection and the Yellow Moon catalogue

Social & sporting activities.

Annual village fete, book fairs, social gatherings and fund-raising events, weekly table tennis meetings, dog training events, and providing accommodation for meetings of the Parish Council and for Child Therapy sessions. Hall available for private hire. Proceeds to the hall.

Friday Swimmers is a private swimming club for physically disabled and post-operative patients, which is run entirely by volunteers.

At our AGM it is decided which charities will be supported that year, usually they will be closely associated with one or more of our members.

IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A RECREATION FIELD AND SPORTS PAVILLION.

To finance leisure and sporting activities for inner city young adolescents and their families to provide opportunities for extra-curricular activities and community engagement.

We provide a safe environment where girls and young people can carry out girl led activities. The aim is to provide activities such as camping, kayaking and rock climbing to allow girls to meet challenges and reach their own potential and through working as a team.

Annually trustees give Bibles to Dean school leavers. The trust leases its playing field to Cumbria CC for Dean school's use. An annual loan repayment is made for land under Dean school/community sports/arts hall, the use of which benefits children's physical & social education. Annually trustees pay into Carlisle Diocesan Barchester Scheme to aid Dean school's v aided status.

Crown Green Bowling and all 2 weather tennis courts for all ages

Provide a venue with historic value to accommodate youth and adult activities within the local community - help develop the use of our facility for the benefit of all age groups. We provide a facility that is set in open land and is ideal for sports, art, culture recreation, environmental, heritage etc.

Once monthly bingo evening.Hall is available to be hired by the public and is used for a range of activities such as;Weekly indoor carpet bowls club.Local band practices.Other sports and leisure activities.Dog training classes
