Within our local area (Apsley) we provide a community building for many different sectionsof society to use & take part in various activities be it Elderly Persons Social Club, Sport, Education or Recreational.ACA also hold a fortnightly Tea Dance approximately 22/23 per year, other fund raising events may occur

The Charity delivers educational workshops to schools, colleges and community trusts revolving around discrimination. We explore the influence and impact that culture has on different forms of discrimination relating to peoples' thoughts and behaviours i.e. stereotypes, prejudices and unconscious bias.

Encouraging people to volunteer, collecting food for Homeless Shelters; youth volunteer and leadership opportunities; supporting local schools; providing a community facility; social events; Luncheon Club for Senior Citizens; erect Town Christmas trees. Recycle Spectacles for Sight; Diabetes awareness clinics; maintaining the Local Nature Reserve. Annual youth sports event.

Jabali supports children and young people through education. We do this through full scholarships that begin in Primary and continue through to tertiary. Beyond our financial support we provide opportunities to learn and play sport, in school and in the holidays. We also run career guidance and life skills workshops to ensure our members have everything they need to prosper in the workplace.

A Rural Youth movement for members aged 10-26 years. Members can gain confidence and recognised skills in public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports competitions, stockjudging and cattle showing/presentation, meetings and social events, fundraising. This is a member led organisation.

Birmingham Roller Derby provides access to Women's Flat Track Roller Derby in Birmingham and the surrounding areas for the public benefit, by the provision of facilities for participation in the sport of Women's Flat Track Roller Derby.

We run the village playing field for cricket, football, tennis, bowls, scouts & children play group. In addition we now own & run a 6 & a half acre wildlife site next to the playing field - 4 acres meadow 2 acres woodland. This is called the Alderbed Meadow Project.

The club promotes participation in rugby league through the provision of facilities, equipment and coaching. The club operates a number of rugby league teams at different age groups which take part in both competitive and non-competitive structures affiliated to the national governing body of the sport - the Rugby Football League.

The relief of people with a learning disability in particular by the provision of help and support for them and for their families, dependants and carers, to promote the needs of those with learning disabilities. To provide facilities for physical recreation and competitive sport, or other leisure activities with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Lions Club of Truro provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the Truro area. The Club donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals. Funds are acquired through regular book sales, annual Crystal golf competition. Christmas & Easter raffles We provide personnel to support other Charities fund raising activities

Support to RAF Flying Clubs/Schools through provision of General Aviation within the RAF

Provision of table tennis and snooker facilities for both coaching and competitive purposes for people in the Truro area. Additionally, other charities are occasionally using the space.

1) The advancement of education in the ancient Indian martial art of Shastar Vidiya and ancient Indian warrior culture and tradition.2) The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for participating in the martial art of Shastar Vidiya.

The Athletic Club Limited is Owner of the land and various buildings. This site is used by the Rugby Club, Cricket Club and Lawn Green Bowls
