Leisure Charities That specialise in Sports

The charity continues the management of the Blunham playing fields for recreational use on behalf of the public and the villagers of the parish of Blunham, Bedfordshire. This includes the development of facilities including the completed childrens play area and also the development of a new pavillion for members and sporting clubs.

Ron Dawson Memorial Hall is a well located village hall in Corby Glen, established since 1993, the hall is pleased to have the local Preschool as its main tenant. The hall and sports field are also available for general hire for parties, christenings, weddings, and other events.

The Lavinia Norfolk Trust raises money to support the children with disabilities who attend the Lavinia Norfolk Centre; a specialist centre, within The Angmering School, for children with Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment or Physical Disabilities. The Trust aims to provide additional sporting and educational opportunities for these disabled young people and to enrich their lives as a result

West Hoathly Pre-school is a small, friendly Early Years setting at the heart of the local community. Catering for around 20 children between the ages of two and four years old. Fundraising activities include children's parties, cake and lolly sales lolly xmas fair's, sports activities.

Mondays - parent & toddlers, fitness suite, cardio rehab, bingo. Tuesday - indoor bowls, fitness suite, junior football training. Wednesday - parent & toddlers, fitness suite, decouparge, spiritualist church. Thursday - sequence dancing, fitness suite, cardio rehab. Friday - parent & toddlers, fitness suite.

A village hall providing facilities for the people of Hunsdon and its surroundings. The hall is well used by local groups, Scouts, Local History Society, Parish Council, Carpet Bowls, Badminton, Youth Club, Over Three Score Club, etc. and is available for hire for private functions.

For the Parishioners of Shaugh Prior Parish. Provides a recreation Field with 2 Football Pitches with a pavilion for both men's & youth teams using the facilities and cricket can also be played but at present is not being used. Bowling green with associated pavilion and hard tennis courts which are not currently used. A large hall used by local WI, over 60's group, Dancing Club, Panto .

Provide a venue for a pre school group, Brownies, fitness, sports and social groups, plus a conference room for local organisations. A mobile library uses the site car park.Available for private hire - all proceeds go to the upkeep of Hall. Funds are raised through grants, user groups, Hall bookings, events provided by the Hall, and donations.

Owns and helps to maintain & support the property of Handsworth Grammar School, including major financing of the new sports hall which has community involvement. Provides scholarships & prizes for students.

Educating young people by providing facilities for teaching the game of football and when appropriate to enter leagues to play organised games against other teams. We provide a safe environment with qualified volunteers to teach and organise. We have achieved Football Association Charter Status signifying our ability to carry out the tasks and currently cater for around 210 young people.

Regular Weekly List. Carpet Bowls, Zumba, Zumba Gold, Keep Fit, Tea Dance, Simply Social & Slimming World.We also have had Courses, Funeral Teas, and other events.

To help and educate young people through their leisure-time activities through mainly rugby league. To develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society in the hope that their condition of life may be improved.

General Scouting activities. We maintain and run a Campsite on the Crown Estate at Patshull in Staffordshire with indoor accommodation as well as a camping field. Activities there would include walking, orienteering, use of a climbing tower, looking at nature and natural environments, all aspects of camping etc.

Football Club

We provide a venue for a full range of village and local / leisure activities including but not limited to; badminton, zumba, , stage plays, annual pantomime, horticultural events, parish council meetings, nursery school, dance class, wedding receptions and parties for all ages etc. We also act as the Polling Station for Local and National elections.

We are a uniformed organisation, and we teach children from the ages of 10 to 18 all aspects of navy life, from Seamanship, to sailing

The Charity acts as local manager of the recreation ground at Bere Regis, responsible for the day to day management and upkeep of both the field and buildings on site, bound by the terms of a Deed of Dedication, agreed with 'Fields in Trust'. The objects of the club are to support social, recreational and sporting activities at the ground.

A village hall, providing services to the local community which includes; sports, health & fitness, dance, music, hobbies & childrens groups. Facilities are also used by the disabled & we provide meeting rooms for local groups, associations & charities. It is also used for a wide range of social activities.
