To actively promote and improve the Social well being, sports and recreational activities for the local community, and surrounding areas.To ensure lasting improvements to a valuable community asset and facilitate community involvement to enable the development of new initiatives.

Built on the ethos and standards of the Royal Navy, Sea Cadet training focuses on water sports and seamanship (carried out on a local river, the sea, adjacent naval establishments) and soldiering skills for Royal Marine Cadets. Cadets can also take national awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh or even attain accredited qualifications in navigation, communication and management.

Provision of a community hall for use by local clubs, societies and the general public for social, recreational and educational purposes.Provision & maintenance of open space including playing field & play equipment, together with sports changing facilities.

Fund raising through events eg dinner dances, speakers, golf and other social occasions and by donations.

Provide a venue for village social, cultural and educational activities, also available for private hire, parties & wedding receptions. Indoor bowls, Heyford Choir, Martial arts club, Film evenings, Pensioners Meals, Various keep fit classes, Women's Institute meetings, Garden Club & Flower club.

The Community Centre is available for all different Activities which include Bowls, Whist,Line Dancing,Keep Fit Classes and pre school it is also available for weekend hire for functions such as Weddings and birthday parties. We also have a meeting room.

Village hall and sports recreational

The village hall is a centre for social, sporting and fundraising activities.

Wardington Memorial Hall & Cricket Ground. Provision of a space and facilities for local community recreational activities.

Provision of hall for use by local population and organisations for meetings, social gatherings, sport, rehearsals, performances and education. Facilities include: one large meeting hall and a smaller annexe, stage with curtains, lighting and dressing rooms; two kitchens; disabled access; toilets; hearing loop; car park. Entrance lobby with access to fenced off outside area and car park.

Llanfair Caereinion Public Hall & Institute is a community resource for the whole town and surrounding villages. Activities inc. library, polling station, WI, Merched y Wawr, Homely Club, Historical Soc., indoor bowls, pilates, yoga, choir, Welsh, Young Farmers, dance, drama, recording studio, concerts, Llanfair carnival, Christmas lights, wedding receptions, funeral teas, parties, etc.

the charity provides education activities, social and sporting activities for under 25 year olds in this rual communty. It also fund raises for club activities and for other charities

St Andrews Community Centre within walking distance of a large local estate, next to the local Primary School.The Centre has a small facility but is well used by childrens activities, Pilates and Yoga groups, WW and Womens Institute meetings and Karate, for local community groups and children party hire.

The aim of the charity is to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Odcombe and its surrounding area by providing a suitable venue for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure such as, short mat bowls, exercise classes, football, karate, walkers, sewing, tea dances, luncheons, suppers, bingo and quiz nights.

The provision of a village hall with a stage, kitchen and 2 other rooms for the use of the local community and others for social, sporting and educational activities.The second room is on continual hire to 'Pre-school' this arrangement has made the main hall available for further hiring to the village and this has been taken up to the benefit of the village.

Blue Bell Hill Village Hall's current activites include: Daily Pre school, Dance School, Table Tennis, Yoga, Children's Parties, Crafts, Carer's Support Group, Religious Gatherings.

We help young people to gain experience and qualifications to help and guide them into responsible adulthood. The activities are mainly, sailing, canoeing, boating, engineering etc all under the supervision of well qualified volunteer instructors. Operations well established locally and have a long history. The unit supports community functions in addition to fund raising to maintain the unit.
