Full Scout Group for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.Regular meetings for educational, sporting activities and scout training both in and outdoors to improve young peoples skills and well being.Annual camps both in the UK and abroad.

Provide wide range of Educational,Sports,and Cultural activities for Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts(both boys & girls) as part of the Scouting movement.

The Town Council care for recreation grounds to include fairfield recreation ground this was left solely for the use of cricket for the Town of Biggleswade.

Village Hall activities for the community include Brownies & Guides, Dancing, Keep Fit, Choir Group, Women's Club, Carpet Bowls, Coffee Mornings and occasional social events. The hall is also hired out for parties etc.

Provide facilities for various organisations to hold their meetings ie parish council meetings etc, classes for keep fit, pilates, yoga irish dancing, karate. The facilities are also used for wedding receptions, funeral wakes, children's parties and other social gatherings.

Physical, Intellectual, Social and Spiritual development of young people through activities including archery, camping, pioneering, shooting, wide games, crafts, cooking, music, kayaking, circus skills etc..

A Community Centre providing the following groups:- Fibromyalgia Support Group, Art for over 50's, Children's Dance Classes, Sequence Dances, Tea Dances, Indoor Bowling, Slimming World, Pilates, Swing Dance Classes, Christian Fellowship Meetings, Keep Fit Classes, Karate Classes, Urban Dance Classes. Hall available for casual hire.

We provide a venue for community activities, education, recreation, sport and entertainment.

The Damerham Village Hall provides a focal point for the village community, providing the space for activates such as; jumble sales, sports clubs, tea and chat, get togethers, coffee mornings, local societies and charitable clubs or events. The hall is used by the local school for parent parking, school productions and events.

It is our aim that Llangathen Village Hall is an affordable resource for all neighbourhood individuals and groups. It is to provide a good standard of facilities for meetings, sports events, classes/courses, concerts, talks, educational events and any other forms of recreation with the object of benefiting local inhabitants without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The memorial hall is used by the following - Classes for Yoga; Fitness and Wellbeing; Boxing/kickboxing. Tennis coaching; Football Club; Cyclecross; Celebration/birthday parties;Weddings; Warm spaces; Residents meetings; Baby and Toddler Group; Community Council Meetings; Voting; Film company; County Council Housing Association; Bouncy Castle Company; Xmas/Tabletop Fairs; Fund raising concerts.

A rural youth movement for young people aged 10-26 years. Members can gain recognised skills and confidence in many activities such as public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports, stock-judging and stock presentation. The opportunity to travel and to attend meetings to arrange fundraising for their clubs and the local community. This is a member led organisation.

Beavers and Cubs enjoy playing games making new friends, going on visits and helping others. There is a badge scheme to reward them for trying new things or improving in existing activities.Scouts activities include camping, climbing, canoeing, cycling, hiking, dry skiing, 1st Aid, Scout Craft, Parades, Community, Drama,photography & many other things to help develop young peoples talents.

PROVIDES VILLAGE HALL COMMUNITY FACILITIES IN THE AREA. USED BY PEOPLE FROM THE VILLAGE AND SURROUNDING AREA FOR SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL AND GROUP MEETING PURPOSES EG, MEETINGS, SOCIAL EVENTS, PARTIES, WEDDING RECEPTIONS, DANCES, PANTOMINES, DRAMA GROUPS, KARATE CLASSES, TCAT COURSES, ALSO ACCOMMODATES THE VILLAGE POST OFFICE.

THE ASSOCIATION CURRENTLY WORKS TO PROVIDE A BASE FOR COMUNITY ACTIVITES TO USE WE ARE STRIVING TO INCREASE THIS BY LOOKING INTO HOW THE LOCAL AUTHORITY CAN HELP US INVITE MORE GROUPS INTO THE CENTER CURRENT GROUPS INCLUDE PENSIONERS COFFEE MORNING KARATE CLUB AND OTHER SOCIAL GATHERINGS

The Charity exists to provide and maintain the village hall and playing fields. The hall has regular user groups, and is also hired out for parties, public meetings, etc. The outside area includes play equipment, a multi-use games area, and a football pitch. Additional facilities will be added as finances permit. We host the annual Severn Festival which facilitates fund-raising by local groups.

Sports & Recreational Activities

The Trustees work to maintain and improve the Community Centre for community activities, for example Girl Guides, Karate class, Theatre arts group(adults and children, and Private hire parties. The centre is also used as the venue for the Village Horticultural Show, Village Pantomime, Easter event and Woodland Trust activites.

Provision and mainternance of a village hall and playing field at Hinton St George. This is the only village communal facility other than the school which has no hall, the parish church and the pub. Facilities are open to all organisations and individuals. Regular users include village sports and social groups and classes, wedding receptions and other special events.

The charity owns & maintains the community hall and makes it available to locally-led user groups (kids club, judo, darts, youth, bingo) plus hiring out to other organisations including local authorities. We are purely funded by grants that we apply for and our own fund-raising activities.

Provision of Youth Club facilities for young people in the Borough of Broxbourne and the town of Hoddesdon

The Crossgates Community Centre is available for the community to hire for a variety of activities. The hall comprises of a sports hall, smaller meeting/conference room and kitchen. Regular users hire the hall for weekly craft activities, bowling, badminton, keep fit and youth groups, but it is also available for hire for parties/celebrations and table top sales.
