We have been a cricket club since 1868 and were awarded charity status to enable the club to expand and meet the wider demands of the local community. The charity supports the development of young people by providing them with essential life skills such as teamwork, emotional regulation, communication, and leadership. Through a combination of structured sports programmes, mentoring, and personal development initiatives, we aim to promote healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour.

The charity was created to promote community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of rugby union primarily but without limitation for the benefit for the local communities of Hitchin, Stevenage and Letchworth.
