Offering 9 to 17 year olds life-changing nautical adventure based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. Opportunities include Rowing, Sailing, Power-boating, Kayaking, Adventurous Training, Seamanship,Cooking, Team-building and many more.

Organising inter school sports competitions and district teams

Raising funds to promote activities for young people such as Youth speaks debates ,disabled sports and R.Y.L.A courses.Also arranging events for our senior citizens including christmas day lunch for those otherwise alone.Also responding to individual requests for support from needy persons.

We have social meetings every Thursday evening at Chickenley Community Centre, Chickenley, Dewsbury from 6pm to 8.30pm and swimming sessions every Tuesday at Batley Baths from 7 - 8pm. We arrange outings and have an annual outing to various places within a suitable travel distance with a meal afterwards. We hold events during the year as well as Xmas parties and Birthday parites.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES FREE SPORT AND RECREATION FOR ALL WHO WISH TO PARTAKE. THE SPORTS INCLUDE RUGBY, FOOTBALL, CROWN GREEN BOWLING AND ANGLING. THE CHARITY HAS A BRASS BAND, THERE IS AN OVER FIFTIES CLUB WHICH HAS FREE USE OF THE PREMISES EVERY MONDAY AND THE CLUB PROVIDES BINGO ON FOUR DAYS OF THE WEEK.THE AGES OF PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE ACTIVITIES RANGE FROM 4YRS TO LATE EIGHTIES. We are a voluntary group of people who provide a safe stable environment in which young people can pursue their activities in a structured group. We help provide and run careers advice, general youth work, boxing lessons, music nights, cooking lessons, health issues support & many other subsiduary groups.

To provide sporting activities on the Alderholt recreation ground

Fund raising events for Pulford Lower School. We hold an annual Summer and Xmas Fayre as well as a Football Festival.

Sport and Recreation for use of the two villages

Provision of village hall, playing field, football pitch and children's playground equipment.

Maintaining and sailing two preserved sailing vessels a Humber Keel (Comrade) and a Humber Sloop (Amy Howson) We also supply information to schools on the working history and attend maritime festivals to promote the awareness of these vessels.

EDUCATION AND SPORTING ACTIVITIES PROVIDED FOR YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE SCOUTING ASSOCIATION

We are a small committee of volunteers formed to manage the day to day running and upkeep of the village hall. The village hall is provided for the use of the local community and surrounding area for social events, amateur sporting and recreational activities, light business use and general community events.

We cater for the youths of Liverpool aged between 9 and 18 years. We teach First aid, IT, Marine Engineering, Cooks Steward. BTEC, Fieldcraft, Navigation As well as all sports including Sailing wind surfing Canoeing, Pulling, Power Boating. Swimming Football plus much much more.

Provision of community facility open to all, where meetings, parties, events and a wide range of activities can be undertaken such as drama; line dancing; Parish Council; Table Tennis; Cricket nets; Yoga; Ramblers; Rotary; Election venue; Mothers & toddlers group and keep fit.

To provide a place/building whereby activities may be undertaken in terms of entertainment, social gatherings, interest clubs and sport.
