We help people of all ages, including those with mental health issues and those recovering from substance mis-use, to benefit from experience sailing on traditional sailing craft and maintaining the craft. This is achieved using the sailing vessels "Tectona" and "Olga", operated by our subsidiary not for profit company Sailing Tectona CIC.

The Trustees believe that encouraging young people to take part in regular physical exercise is beneficial for them and for society as a whole. Sculling is thriving in clubs and schools but the event calendar does not yet meet the increasing demand for sculling. Efforts are therefore focussed on providing more opportunities for racing, either by running events or by supporting others that do.

The charity has developed a holiday centre in the Algarve Portugal in order to provide holidays for children and adults with disabilities and also for their carers. The building is specially adapted to a very high standard and has all facilities needed even for those seriously disabled. There is also an education centre and outside there is a swimming pool and a petting zoo for children.

We aim to offer all members of our club enjoyment. This comes in the form of exercise and a chance to improve ability within a safe, learning and encouraging environment, free from the pressure of win at all costs. Our win is development. BCA is principally involved in providing a Community Hall to accommodate the activities of its Constituent Groups, as well as providing space for other activities of interest to the residents of Banstead and the surrounding areas both through local charities and on a commercial basis. The programme covers a broad range of leisure and sporting activities and is well supported.

To provide an extreme sports skatepark facility for all associated sports in the Weymouth area for all to use including the wider community. To provide an important indoor community hub supporting work experience placements and volunteering opportunities to our members and other community youth groups, schools and colleges including SEN young adults and different ability groups.
