Leisure Charities

Maintains & administers village hall for use by local people as a social and community centre. Is already used on a regular basis by indoor bowls club, dance classes, the local junior football and Tae Quando Group. Many locals use the hall for various types of parties and other activities. We will also be running a pop-up cafe a few days a week to increase community engagement from Summer 2022.

Provides space for faith users to congregate and carry out religious activitiesProvides space for communal activities, such as sports, educational clubs, drugs awareness, etc.

Pevensey Memorial Hall is for the use of the community. The hall is hired out for Ballroom Dancing, Modern Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls, Guides and Brownies. Bingo is held every Friday evening and the Hall is hired out at any other available time for various functions. The Hall also produces a 32 page glossy covered magazine, The Parish Pump,distributed free to 5000 homes, three times a year.

Education and leisure activities on a self help basis for retired and semi-retired people in the Newbury area of West Berkshire.

Tunbridge Wells U3A is a recreational and educational organisation set up with the aim of benefiting those in the community who are retired or no longer in full-time gainful employment. It provides a meeting each month with an invited speaker, a variety of social gatherings and has over sixty study groups with subjects from art appreciation to 10 mile walks. Around 150 attend the monthly meetings.

To provide facilities for use by the Shotgate community and surrounding area.Actitivities include play group, over 50s club, table tennis, wine club, gardening club etc.Shotgate Community Hall is available for hire for private functions weddings, parties etc.

Wetherby Athletic JFC boasts teams for girls and boys from ages 5 to 18. The club ethos is to provide opportunities for all ages and abilities to play football in a safe and friendly environment, in which all its members feel valued, supported and can develop to their full potential.We have a superb voluntary team doing all those important jobs to help make this club as successful as possible.

We are an every day developing Youth football Club. With youngest being 4 years old in our development Colts teams. We Also have a further 11 teams ranging in age and abilities. Our philosophy is we never turn anyone away. We fund raise through the year for a variety of reasons including kits, equipment and currently the refurbishment of our changing rooms. We are proud to be a grass roots club.

The provision of a facility for recreation, education and leisure for all the people of Sheriff Hutton

Pratts Bottom Village Hall is a local amenity that provides an excellent facility for the local community of Pratts Bottom to engage in club, social, educational and sport activities. The hall is hired to local individuals, clubs and societies, and a weekly club for registered disabled at preferential rates, also for non-village events such as weddings and parties to help boost our income.

Advancement of Agriculture and Horticulture for the benefit of the public by holding an annual show at/near Llandyfaelog

Provision of day care facilities for 75 elderly clients per week. This includes a hot lunch, recreational activities arranged. Approx 25 volunteers help 3 part time staff in running the centre. Co-operation with Norfolk Social Services, Age Concern etc.

Provides facilities for the following groups:- 1) Youth club. 2) Drama 3) Horticultural society. 4) Ladies club. 5) Indoor short mat bowling x 2 6) Spiritualist church. 7) Private parties ie birthdays etc. 8) Dance Club 9) Polling station. 10)Craft Club

We provide rooms for hire by the general public and organisations for, dancing, parties, concerts, craft fairs, car boot sales, sports such as Judo, short mat bowls, adult education classes,lectures, recreation, art and business meetings etc.

PROVIDING FULL TRAINING FOR MULTI ACTIVITIES COVERING SAILING, PULLING, DRILL,BAND,FOOTBALL, SHOOTING AND MANY MORE ACIVITIES FOR CHILDREN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 10 TO 18

Using golf as a mechanism in the development of young people who have experienced adversity and trauma and to support them in building resilience for the future, improving mental and physical health. We use The Kendleshire Golf Club facilities working in partnership with our golf professionals and mentoring partner Strive Youth Engagement using a person-centred trauma responsive approach.

Established in 1948 Worksop Boys & Girls Club promotes healthy fun exercise for young people in and around Worksop providing regular group activities focused around football. This provides them with good community spirit through team work and respect for others. Professionally trained coaches are provided for all and are also qualified in 1st aid, Child Protection, and are DBS/CRB checked.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Ramsdell and the surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:(a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

To provide facilities for everyone to see and learn about the experimental camp held in 1907 on Brownsea Island which started the worldwide Scout and Guide movements and the history since then to date and to encourage all young people to enjoy the open air by camping and outdoor activities.

We have provided opportunities for young people to engage in recreation and sport, we have had summer camps, also art and creative activities to improve the lives of young people.

Village Hall managed by voluntary committee for the use of various groups/clubs for activities ranging from dances, bingo, religious groups, sports and other leisure activities.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents especially persons who by youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social or economic circumstances may have need for such facilities.

Bolton County is a well-established, local football club in Bolton, Greater Manchester.The club aims to foster and develop football at all levels, providing opportunities for recreation and competition, offering coaching and competitive opportunities to players of all abilities from our local communities in a safe and encouraging environment.The club is run entirely by dedicated volunteers.
