OYA runs a cluster of projects for African youngsters and their families on a council estate: a supplementary school (English, Maths, Science) for 11-16 years olds, a culture programme (African choir, dance, drama), a trainee scheme (paid Saturday jobs and training in youth work and administration) for 16-18 year olds, and a Family Programme including advice, advocacy and volunteering.
