Benefits not normally provided by the LEA for maintained primary/secondary schools in the parishes of Billingborough & Horbling. Grants for education purposes to persons under 25 years who (or whose parent(s)) are resident in the parishes of Billingborough & Horbling. Payments to the vicar of Billingborough & Horbling to help promote religious education.

Friends of St Nicholas Church are dedicated to supporting vicar & church wardens, in maintaining church building & contents.All Applications by the PCC for Funding to be made to FSN to consider before a contract is agreed, or work commenced. If the FSN agree to fund a project either in full or part an invoice for the agreed sum to be submitted to the FSN for payment direct to contractor/supplier.

Support of local district nurse teams and health care needs.

Applying the clear income of the Charity in or towards providing facilities for convalescence, rest and recreation and for the continuing education of nursing staff in the County of Shropshire in order to enable them to perform their duties more efficiently.

To relieve poverty by assisting in the provision of financial assistance to the clergy and former clergy of St Saviour's Church, Guildford, including the widows and dependants of any such clergyTo advance the Christian faith by the maintenance and support of the ordained clergy of St Saviour's Church, Guildford

We help members of the 'league', aid their families, dependents and colleagues with small financial gifts where necessary, required and applied for. We produce an annual journal and have an AGM requesting for updated information on colleagues/members and their families who may be in need of our assistance. Membership currently 397.

Provides recreation and pleasure ground for use by residents of Thrybergh.

We support the Vicar of the Parish of St. Andrew, Buxton, Norfolk.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust grants are made to C of E clergy within 10 Miles of St Peters Church Nottingham at the Trustee discretion to augment their living costs . The Trustee is satisfied that the purposes remain charitable. The Trustee have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 06 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Comm.

Support the allotments holders by maintaining the sitesSupport two local brass bands which historically were associated with the local colliery when it was open.In conjunction with the local football team we support local youth to play football,also assist in providing local entertainment on the football premises.Similarly with the local cricket team assist in using the premises and equipment

The Cwmgwili Miners' Welfare Committee meet every other month to arrange various activities to entertain the villagers in order to bring the community together and to raise money for the maintenance and improvement of the Village Hall. This year they have been raising money and received some Grants to establish a Miner's Memorial Garden on the village green, which will be an ongoing project.

The Charity pays grants to an Organ Scholar. Also considers requests from the Vicar. Meets twice a year to discuss grants to schools regarding Religious education.

The object of the charity is the provision of a welfare institute for the benifit of the inhabitants of the surrounding communities (and inparticular, but not exclusively, members of the mining community), with the object of improving health and wellbeing of the said inhabitants

Aims are to collect money for purchasing and maintaining medical equipment for use in the local Health Centres and by the District nurses to help people in the home.

We offer bursaries to those who come into hard times or to clergy families who are on very small incomes.
