Gives aid to Christian scientists in need of nursing and or pastoral care either within East & West Sussex or living within 40 miles of Brighton. In addition we give financial support to Christian science nurses living within 40 miles of Brighton for training purposes.

Our activities are very much community based. A small fishing village, with an industrial history of ironstone mining, and steel works, only a small specialised part of the steelworks remaining (steel brought in by road/rail, from Teesside). High number of unemployed/retired in an area of social deprivation. A good and tight knit community, the village hall provides for the needs of the community

The Trust was established to help ordinands or priests of the Church in Wales to study at St George's College, Jerusalem, Lampeter College or elsewhere.

The organisation provides education and training for community nurses to enhance the care of patients in the community. It also provides a forum to share information and good practice across the four countries for the the Advancement of Health & wellbeing of individuals in the Community. The organisation will also give educational grants to nurses working in the community .

'Cursillo' is an international movement of the church which began in Spain around 1949 based on experiences of pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella.. It is a way by which Christians experience a sense of pilgrimage and growth through, initially, a three day weekend, led and supported by lay people and clergy. Southwark Anglican Cursillo operates throughout the Anglican Diocese of Southwark.
