Sanity comprises of Mental health nurses and volunteers providing support and advice to anyone who has mental health needs. We assist families and carers with practical advice on how to access local mental health services. We provide a helpline for people who are feeling suicidal or having thoughts of harming themselves.We offer advice and advocacy and assistance in making informed decisions.

Provides support to the religious duties of the vicar of St. Paul's Church in Bedford

THE CHARITYS ROLL IS TO PROMOTE AND FACILITATE SPORTING GROUPS AND ORGANISATIONS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

The provision of 'The Lee Scholarship' at Trinity College Cambridge. This is tenable for three years following a public examination for the son or daughter of a member of the clergy of the Church of England (who shall have officiated in the diocese of Manchester for a period of not less than five years in total) and who declares themselves to be a member of the Church of England.

Preservation of underground mines, mine buildings and mining heritage

The Charity is bound by the scheme whereby one-tenth of the net income is provided to the Vicar of Cirencester by way of a contribution for acquisition of books and periodicals required by him in undertaking his religious work and the remaining nine-tenths is applied at the trustees' discretion to eligible persons under the age of 25 years who were born or resident in the vicinity of Cirencester.

Provision of sporting facilities namely bowls, football and clay pigeon shooting in the former mining areas of Bagworth, Battram and Ellistown as well as offering community facilities for the general public.

PRESERVATION AND INTERPRETATION OF THE MINING INDUSTRY OF NORTH WALES

The trustees visited ICU in hospital in the Gambia during 2014-2015 and were pleased to see it in operation. Shipment of donated medical goods sent in September 2014 to hospital in the Gambia.Brought two ITU Gambian nurses to Broomfield hospital 2016 for two months training. Supported 1 medical student and 1 pharmaceutical student,2017-2018, donated £500 to Bees Abroad

General charitable activities in sport/recreation.

Finincial Assistance for Clergy's widows, education, Tenant's and widows of the Llangedywn Estate, Poor and Necessitous persons of Llangedywn and Llanfihangel

The principal purpose of the charity is to provide assistance in the development of community sport and recreation on the site of Dunscroft Miners Welfare. The charity is fully supportive of promoting football at "grass roots level," helping to fund football courses for willing volunteers, and also helping to apply for grants to improve the facilities at the ground.

We are a team of dedicated volunteers who respond to 999 calls within the area of Newark & District, we can potentially save lives. Because we're local, we can arrive at the patients home before the ambulance or paramedic and then we are able to provide essential treatment at the earliest opportunity. We stay with the patient until the ambulance or paramedic arrives - which can be several hours.

Formulating a plan to hold a reunion of aged miners and families to replace a the space vacated by another charity. Reunion been organised for younger ex miner.Establish fund to erect a permanent memorial to the miners of Dinnington.Assisting ex miners and families in hard times.Help given to members of general public in certain circumstances.
