Leisure management - Garndiffaith Welfare Recreation Ground

Promoting and improving the health, social well-being and conditions of living of persons who are or have been employed in the Coal Industry in the counties of Staffordshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Shropshire, Clwyd, Gwynedd and Powys and their wives, husbands and dependent relatives and the widows, widowers and relatives of deceased persons.

Minor local authority acting as Sole Trustees for the improvement and upgrading of the former recreation ground into a parkland area for the benefit of the local residents

To provide a centre where facilities for in-service training and religious study are available for Catholic priests and students for the Catholic priesthood and where Catholic preists may temporarily retreat and recover from the strains of their vocation.

Assistance given to students and other young engineers in activities associated with the mining , minerals and associated industries

HOLDING OF AN OPEN SPACE AS AN ENDOWMENT

The making of small grants to nurses employed in the NHS towards the cost of course fees to enable them to undertake approved training as specialist oncology nurses.

The Charity provides accompanied holidays for people with disabilities living mainly within the areas shown. A typical group size of 24 persons would include 2 qualified nurses, 10 people with a range of disabilities and 12 volunteer helpers who give care 24 hours per day for the duration of the holiday.

Recreation and pleasure grounds for the use of the people of Walsall

The association operates principally as a channel of communication between the local police and the residents of Guiseley, using e-mail, voice mail and a newsletter which includes details of recent criminal activity and associated problems in the area. Monthly meetings are held, attended by a police officer and community support officers.

The DBF returned to Nyofelleh to restore the clinic, staff quarters, ambulance & school .We have had a successful maintenance program meeting Ministers of Health and Education who are very pleased with our progress.The Minister of Health signed an MOU with the DBF to fund a midwife completely,the DBF will provide a new Maternity Unit.and accommodation for the nurse , our target this year.
