Provision of activities - dormant building, due to health and safety, ongoing applications to restore for use by the community .

The charity funds a group of volunteer doctors and one nurse consultant who provide prehospital medical care to patients. The major component of our work is providing roadside care for victims of road traffic accidents, but we treat patients with a broad range of serious injury and illness. We aim to bring critical care skills to these patients that would normally only be found in hospitals.

The Trust was created in 1937 to construct and provide a Home for Retired Nurses.

The relief of hardship and provision of financial support for clergy, retired clergy and lay ministers and assistants in the Church of England, their spouses or dependants, resident in Sherborne, Dorset.

The Charity gives support to ladies undergoing treatment for breast cancer and those in remission. We meet monthly to give moral support, arrange speakers on various subjects and organise outings. When possible we have a breast cancer nurse attend the meetings. We help purchase various items for cancer treatment suites at local hospitals.

Provides peer support to the families of police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This support can be of a one to one nature or group activities such as parents weekends, spouses weekends and children's activities.

The Cross & Dragon Trust exists to support the ministry of the church in its traditional form of male priests. The original donor (now deceased) has provided a small legacy which fulfills the objects which include provision of a youth worker. The trustees are going to support his work with young people in the form of an activity week.

Our Council members are promoting good understanding of Hinduism and building bridges amongst the multi-faith Britain. there is harmonious atmosphere across UK where our Hindu Priests members are working. All our NCHP members are unpaid volunteers and supporting the communities where there is a need.

Playing brass band music. Giving concerts. Training young and new players. Supporting and representing our community in Cumbria. Although, we have been unable to function as a full band of 26 players during the last two years, we are currently operating as a small ensemble and have some engagements coming up in the next few months.

To encourage regular visits to care homes by clergy and lay-people and to offer pastoral help and the provision of church services and prayers to residents. To encourage churches and local communities to adopt a care home. To provide Bibles and Prayer Books and other Christian literature to residents. To provide front-line support for care workers and attend to their spiritual needs.

Orphan Aid Malawi has simple aims: survive, learn, earn we will be a link between training and qualified clinicians who can donate time in clinics and hospitals in Malawi. We will sponsor AIDS orphans in boarding secondary schools throughout Malawi to help them become economically independent adults with reasonable employment opportunities from mining, manufacturing, fishing, farming or tourism

Help with the environment & community wellbeing

Rural Policing Liaison Group are involved with a number of activities throughout the year, We have purchased Mobile cameras to monitor wildlife crime. Also we are in the throws of setting up our fourteenth annual awards evening where we award a Police Officer, Three members of the public, A young person, and a farmer, for their work in wildlife and conservation.

Provide support to families with children suffering from Cancer by funding complimentary therapy service comprised of a Complementary therapy Nurse Specialist (CTNS). Provided at the children?s hospital beds at GOSH or within a complimentary therapy room. Families can also benefit from speaking with the nurse about their treatment. The charity also supports a number of community activities.

The Charity facilitates educational activities in the field of women's health. The educational meetings are usually attended by specialty doctors, nurses, midwives, fertility specialties, health care managers and senior specialists. The Charity promotes education through the award of bursaries.

The team at PICHEAM aims to set up a system whereby UK-based paediatricians and paediatric nurses make short but frequent missions to a chosen country to work alongside local paediatricians and other healthcare staff. The aim of these missions is to improve skills and knowledge to help implement evidence-based guidelines that will save children?s lives.

The Charitable Company will assist trustees of local mining trusts who are required to dispose of charitable property, by allowing the company to be appointed as their agents, in order to effectively manage the costs of any disposal thereby maximising the net proceeds of sale for alternative charitable application.

Like most charities, COVID 19 has had a large impact on our fundraising activities of late. However, we have been supporting our colleagues in Nepal who have been delivering fundamental necessities like food items, clothing etc to parts of rural Nepal where people rely on daily labour to make ends meet. Donations have also gone towards nurses salaries to make healthcare more accessible.

To promote good citizenship for the public benefit and advance the education of the public in the local heritage and traditions of coal mining. Commemorating this heritage and tradition with the erection of a coal mining related statue in a prominent position within the village of Hetton-le-Hole.To advance the education of the general public of Hetton in local history, heritage and culture.
