St Mary's CofE School Appeal Fund exists to support St Mary's CofE Voluntary Aided Primary School, Walthamstow;to provide for the Governors' liability for repairs, extensions and improvements to the School and to advance the education of the pupils at the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities not provided by the Local Education Authority.

In December 2020 we gave £52 to St Mary's Church towards children's work and general upkeep of the church.

Provision of special benefits At Palgrave Primary School of a type not normally provided by the Education Authority and in meeting the costs of Church of England religious instruction in the school and in the parish

Distribution of income to two C of E controlled schools to support, on request, specific projects or resource needs which benefit the education or welfare of pupils.

This charity supports the religious education of young people according to the principles of the Church of England and youth work.

Children's work in the parish

The income and property of the charity shall exist for the purpose of advancing the education of the students by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the education of students at the school and not normally provided from the delegated budget.

The trust was set up on 16th March 1809 to be distributed to 'poor inhabitants of Biggleswade' reported to lead good and normal lives of the established Church of England that should already attend the Divine Service and receive the Sacraments in the Parish Church

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Christ Church Thornton-le-Fylde

To provide funds to two Church of England Schools from investment income. The capital invested came from the sale of a house.

General Charitable Purposes, Relief of Poverty, Religious activities and Church of England

The trustees seek to support the work of Grasmere School and through the trusts limited income to provide accommodation for children and young people of the village outside school hours. This latter role provides a meeting place for a parents and toddlers group, as well as two youth clubs aged 7-14 years.

For the purpose of being applied or in aid of or in connection with the purpose and work of instructing the children of the beneficial Parish in the Gospels or otherwise in accordance with the doctrine of the Church of England.

The care of all who give their time as vergers and other volunteers within the Church of England.

In England and Wales we provide for necessitous teachers or former teachers/lecturers and those in teacher training who are members of the Church of England or of another recognised Christian denomination, in times of affliction, disablement or other misfortune, and on their demise to provide for their financial dependants. To promote the education of people under the age of 25 years within the area of benefit by awarding scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at school, university, college or institution of higher or further education, assisting with travel and supporting religious instuction in accordance with the tenets of the Church of England.
