Hereford Gospel Trust has the following charitable purpose:The advancement of the Christian religion for the public benefit including the carrying on of the service of God in accordance with the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible as followed by those Christians forming part of a world-wide fellowship known as the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church ("The Brethren").

The Methodist Church in Ellesmere Port comprises Hope Farm, Little Sutton and Trinity Methodist Churches in Ellesmere Port. Each site seeks to serve their unique neighbourhoods and offer Methodist worship and activities in contextually appropriate ways, including at Trinity through its Daily Bread Cafe, and other various activities.

The Society of The Faith carries out a range of charitable activities including providing meeting space and offices for other charities and church groups, holding an annual lecture, awarding grants for advanced theological study and church needlework and sponsoring books about the Christian faith.

The charity co-operates with the incumbent of the Parish to minister to the needs of the people of the Parish. It seeks to promote the mission of the church, pastoral, evangelisic, social and ecumenical, and so benefits the public living in and/or working in the Parish and area.

The main function of the charity is to provide support for Christian Worship by it's members and to serve the community as an outward expression of that worship. The act of serving the community is very broad including english lessons, toddler play groups, elderly shared meal times and youth groups.

Springs Church Gornal provides Christian teaching, guidance and support to advance the religion of Jesus Christ. Primarily through the provision and facilitation of weekly gatherings the church interacts with the community from the children through to the elderly. It also offers support for those most in need in the local community, such as the support for local food banks.
