The charity administers the Beth Abraham Synagogue & ensures it is managed legally & efficiently. It administers the finances of the Synagogue & maintains the Synagogue building. The Avenue Church is close to the center of Newton Abbot. It is a Local Ecumenical Project made up of people from the Methodist and United Reform Churches, but people of other christian traditions are regular worshipers. The Church places a great emphasis on outreach and in addition to family and youth work, a lot of other church activities give an opportunity to deliver the Christian message.

The principal purpose of the Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist Denomination. It does this through Sunday worship and activities for children and young people Mid-week gatherings take place for prayer, bible study, craft ,fellowship, and children's activities. The church hosts a food bank and community hub run by Hope for Belper.

The church holds meetings which are open to the public without charge where understanding the bible is taught. The church provides the following:1. We offer a place of worship following Unitarian principles and community facilities.

St Mary's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church - pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has responsibility for the maintenance of St Mary's Church.

This charity's mission is to unite and celebrate the diverse cultures of our local community through the arts, providing a broad range of cultural facilities in a fully accessible space and activities for the benefit of the public in Hackney and beyond. We aim to create a varied programme, with community as well as ticketed events to bring it within the reach of as many people as possible.

We are the Parish Church for Plympton St Mary. We provide facilities for the use of local organisations, for example our church's Plympton Foodbank and other Community Groups(for the elderly, Sports /Health/ children's groups). The clergy provide pastoral care for the local community and beyond. We also provide financial support for both religious and secular charities at home and abroad.
