The parish is a constituent member of the Swindon Deanery of the Diocese of Bristol of the Church of England of the Anglican Communion. The parish shares in the world-wide work of the Anglican Communion, and, beyond that, cooperates where possible with the work of other Christian Churches and fellowships.

The PCC of St Mark's has the responsibility in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church of England. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the church building and hall complex. It plays a full part in the life of the Deanery and the Diocese, and supports its work through the parish share. The Diocese supports St Mark's through the provision of clergy and their housing.

The WICAS charity provides support to those in need in Swansea areas. As an independant body we work together with other organisations to provide better understanding of Islam. We organise classes where the teaching of the Sunnah and Quran takes place.The charity is focused on the employment of Imams in line with employment regulation.
