The PCC co-operates with the incumbent, the Rev'd R Henderson in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the church buildings and churchyard of St Michael's and the church buildings at St Luke's. St Wilfrid's Standish Church has several important activities that are central to it's main purposes; faith being the central activity with regular services, being a central hub for the Parish, as well as our Parish Hall which is an important meeting place in the community for faith groups, children's activities as well as catering for any other groups.

The Red Letter Project is a charitable organisation with a Christian ethos which provides for the needs of the local community in and around the parish of St. Johns church in Great Horton, Bradford. It's key activities are the provision of a community hall, a lunch group open to the needy and lonely, a food bank/shared table, evangelical support for local schools and the provision of a nursery.

The public worship of God every Sunday at both morning and evening services. Activities include worship, pastoral work in the community, engagement with local school providing baptisms, marriages and funerals for the local community, maintaining local church buildings and churchyard. Through social and outreach activities we also raise funds to continue our work and maintain our buildings and churchyards. We operate from our 17 church buildings and 5 clergy parsonages.
