The Parochical Church Council is responsible for the work of the Anglican Church in the parish of Bishops Cleeve, which includes Woodmancote and Southam. It is also responsible for the provision of church services and the maintenance of the church of St Michaels and All Angels Bishops Cleeve and of the Church of the Ascension Southam.

To advance the Christian religion in UK and overseas by following and proclaiming the principle truths of the Bible and to support other Christians, churches or organisations sharing these objectives. To relieve poverty both in this country and overseas by any means.

The principle purpose of Christ Central Church is to preach, teach and demonstrate the Christian gospel message of Jesus Christ.Our primary focus for these activities is within our local area. However, we also carry out other charitable activities in the UK and/or other parts of the world.

Providing and maintaining a synagogue for public worship and advancing religious, educational and charitable activities.

Normal pastoral and worship activities of a Church of England Parish

1. School & College Chaplaincy - In both Primary & Secondary schools; we provide Chaplains to support the pastoral work of the school. 2. Training- We run a gap year programme. 3. We run a number of events for children and young people. 4. We run a residential Activities Centre for schools.

Synagogue and Jewish community

Regular public worship open to all. Personal growth through short courses, home groups and mentoring. Youth and children's activities. Parent Network. Care for sick, elderly and vulnerable. Sunday Supper - support for homeless and marginalized. Supporting a range of charities in UK and worldwide.

Religious Activities within the Parish of St Michael Highgate

The activities of the charity includes the advancement of the Christian faith by proclamation and example, action in the local community and involvement with other churches in the city and region, the relief of unemployment, the prevention or relief of poverty, the promotion of education, the relief of sickness and preservation of health and the provision of recreational facilities.

Church of England for the parish of Houghton-le-spring St Michaels and All Angels

THE CHARITABLE COMPANY EXISTS AS A CHURCH AND IS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ADVANCE (NEWFRONTIERS) GLOBAL NETWORK OF CHURCHES AND A MEMBER OF THE EVANGELICAL ALLIANCE. IT CARRIES OUT THE TYPICAL ACTIVITIES OF A CHRISTIAN CHURCH.

1) To advance the religion of Islam by means of, but not exclusively, provision or assistance in the provision of facilities for worship and Islamic education (supplementary schools and nurseries).2) To advance in life and relieve needs of young people through the provision of recreational activities and support.3) To relieve financial hardship of poor people and victims of natural disasters.

Primary function to reach nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Train and develop strong men and women in practical skills of Christian ministry, citizenship and discipleship. To raise awareness in Black Afro/African Caribbean community in such areas as computer technology, business starting and general further education. Assist local authority with feeding poor and visiting sick.
