We are a Parish Church with church activities including Church Services, Prayer Meetings, Home Groups and Fellowship Meetings. We have a number of weekly social activities for church members. Our Hall is available for community hire.

Christ Church's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, the Revd Vacancy, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church Hall at Christ Church.

Parish Church

The charity manages and operates St George's Theatre, housed in a Grade I listed former chapel, together with the neighbouring Pavilion cafe bar and outside performance area, to provide a balanced and broad range of cultural activities including theatre, cinema, performing arts, comedy, and music for the whole community.

It plays a full part in the life of the Deanery and the Diocese, and supports its work through the parish share. The Diocese supports St Mark's through the provision of clergy and their housing.

We organise classes where the teaching of the Sunnah and Quran takes place.The charity is focused on the employment of Imams in line with employment regulation.
