The activities of St John's include services of Christian worship, choral training for people of all ages, a weekly lunch club for older people, a weekly toddler groups, a group for teenagers, and regular bible study groups.

We are a broad and inclusive church with a strong liturgical and musical tradition and welcome Christians of all denominations to join us at the Lord's table. Our worship, like the building itself, combines the best aspects of the ancient and the contemporary.

We gather on Sundays for support - we provide children's activities during these services.We also gather in smaller mid-week groups to bless our community and to support and encourage one another. These groups provide practical and emotional support with lifts to appointments, prayer, child care and meals for new mothers.We also support a group of churches in running a family fun day.

The objects of the Temple is to a provide place of worship for Sikhs, to support the community in connecting with its religion and to integrate into the community within which they live. The synagogue promotes Liberal Judaism, for the benefit of the public good. It does so by providing a place of worship; conducting religious ceremonies; raising awareness of religious beliefs and practices; providing pastoral care and outreach; promoting interfaith activities; and educating people about and generally advancing the religion.

We follow a traditional monastic pattern of life. All our services of worship are open to the public and guest accomodation is available for private retreats and quiet days. We provide a listening ear to those who may be helped by it. Talks on prayer & religious life are sometimes given to visiting groups. Financial support is given for the care of the Society's elderly Sisters in Africa.
