Mission and Ministry in the Ecclesiastical parish of Skegby, St Andrew

The Congregation is devoted to the Passion of Christ (that is, the love and mercy of God as seen in Jesus' acceptance of death on the cross). Our ministries include working in parishes, conducting missions and retreats and providing outreach to the local community.

The PCC of the Parish of Bromsgrove with the Councils of the District Churches has responsibility for co-operating with the Ordained and Lay Ministry Team in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for churches, halls, other buildings and assets of the Anglican Parish churches.

ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE UK

The Red Letter Project is a charitable organisation with a Christian ethos which provides for the needs of the local community in and around the parish of St. Johns church in Great Horton, Bradford. It's key activities are the provision of a community hall, a lunch group open to the needy and lonely, a food bank/shared table, evangelical support for local schools and the provision of a nursery.

Support of the religious and other charitable activities of the Congregation of the Society of Marie Auxiliatrice, including pastoral work in parishes, retreat ministry, youth work, educational work, school chaplaincies and liturgical ministry.

The public worship of God every Sunday at both morning and evening services. Sunday School, mid-week Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, Christianity Explored classes, Youth activities including Girls Brigade and Boys Brigade, Ladies and Mens Fellowship Meetings, Coffee Bar outreach and drop-in center, services in Old Peoples homes. All activities are open to the general public.

Activities include worship, pastoral work in the community, engagement with local school providing baptisms, marriages and funerals for the local community, maintaining local church buildings and churchyard. Through social and outreach activities we also raise funds to continue our work and maintain our buildings and churchyards. We operate from our 17 church buildings and 5 clergy parsonages.

St Peter's Hillfields works to promote the whole mission of Church in the context of the above Parishthrough both Word (preaching, worship, teaching, etc) and Action for the primary benefit of the peopleof Hillfields and the Coventry refugee and asylum seeker community to whom we offer help and supportwithout making any distinction.

As a ministry, our passion to reach Jewish people takes those who share our vision into the heart of Europe, throughout the UK, down to Cape Town in South Africa, and over into Israel. All in all, these are exciting days to be involved in taking the transforming message of God's love to the Jew first.

The Circuit produces a quarterly preaching plan to ensure regular acts of worship take place at each of the 9 Methodist Churches in its area.
