Reading Phoenix Choir is a mixed voice amateur choir. Our objectives are to educate the public in the art and science of music by the presentation of concerts and other activities. Undertakes and sponsors environmental research on mollusc related subjects. Publishes results in "Journal Of Conchology" or in the society's magazine "Mollusc World". The journal is the world's oldest continuing publication on the subject. Published twice a year, it contains scientific papers and short communications on molluscs with the emphasis on conservation, biogeography and taxonomy
