SYO aims to educate in the art and science of music. We hold weekly rehearsals during term time for musicians aged up to 21 drawing children from SW London, Surrey & Middlesex. Our three concerts each year are open to the public, and we organise an annual/biannual tour abroad. Most members pay to belong to the orchestra but no child with musical talent is excluded because of inability to pay.

We educate the public in South Cumbria and North Lancashire in the art and science of orchestral music. We promote concerts in Kendal, and manage the Lakeland Sinfonia orchestra.

Archives of IT (AIT) was born out of a passion for preserving the heritage of the UK tech sector and inspiring future generations to consider STEM careers. We have a growing, free online archive of video interviews with technology leaders, from 1950s computing pioneers to today's leading entrepreneurs, and an education programme powered by these tech pioneers' stories.

Islamic Science course for males-These are part-time courses for adults which delivers a wide range of Islamic sciences.Provide essential items to needy families in our local community.

The Academy has an evening school and various stand-alone courses for the youth, where they learn recitation of the Qur'an along with developing their understanding of various areas of Islamic practice, creed and mannerisms and Adult courses in Islamic sciences. The charity raises money from members of the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. These funds are used for the relief of poverty of members of the actuarial profession; for education or research related to actuarial science or mathematics, to support actuaries in financial need and for other related charitable causes. The charity is based in, and operates in, the UK .

The objects of the charity are to advance and promote the relief of sickness across Europe through the development and evaluation of novel therapies for support of failing organ systems; maintaining a registry of such novel therapies; supporting clinical research and providing educational programs for medical professionals and lay communities including organising a scientific symposium each year.

Noah's Ark Pre-School provides stimulating and enjoyable surroundings for children aged 2.5 - 4 years and works towards the Governments National Early Learning goals. The village hall facilities will be used by local community groups,such as a local history group, a community choir, parent and toddler groups, & a lunch club

As at 31 March 2023 the school had a total of 78(2022- 64) students varying in age from 5 to 18 and including some English based children. Total of twelve classes are held each Saturday consisting of Japanese and Mathematics lessons. All pupils successfully completed internal examinations and attendance was maintained at over 80%. Hold extra time lessons such as history, science and GCSE.

The BSPS holds an annual conference with invited speakers and contributed papers, and monthly meetings at which invited speakers present papers. It makes grants to support conferences relevant to research and education in its areas of study and awards annual studentships for doctoral work in philosophy of science in a UK university. Other activities are decided by the committee from time to time.
