Women in Ocean Science is a global charity that supports women and non-binary in marine science and conservation. To promote the advancement of knowledge in the natural sciences, archaeology, historical research and kindred subjects especially in relation to the town of Battle and its environs for the benefit of the general public by:- maintaining a museum, in the town of Battle, to house collections;- collating, publishing or otherwise disseminating information relating thereto

The Sidmouth Science Festival aims to raise awareness of the STEM subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths to showcase how they affect our everyday lives, and to provide stimulating events for all age groups and all parts of our community.

The Society promotes, enhances, develops and maintains public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects. What a Wonderful World is based in Alnwick and its activities reach people across Northumberland. We ran a Climate Action Day in October 2021 in the run up to Cop26 and a full weekend festival of arts, science and the natural world in June 2022, June 2023 and June 2024 Planning is underway for a 4th festival June 27-29th 2025.
