To promote the advancement of knowledge in the natural sciences, archaeology, historical research and kindred subjects especially in relation to the town of Battle and its environs for the benefit of the general public by:- maintaining a museum, in the town of Battle, to house collections;- collating, publishing or otherwise disseminating information relating thereto
