Brain Research UK (the working name of Brain Research Trust) promotes and supports basic and clinical research into neurological disease which affects one in five people in the UK. We fund ground-breaking research at UK-wide centres of excellence for scientific research into neurological diseases and conditions.

To advance the education of the public in general (and Geology students in particular) in the science ofEconomic Geology by providing suitable funding for education, research, publications, student supportand other suitable programs.

TDR delivers activities regionally in the science, engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors by co-ordinating schools, students and employers to provide seamless opportunities for progression from school to fully trained status, focussing on enhanced work experience and providing jobs with planned training. TDR also works with employers to enhance the regional industrial skills.

The BSH aims to promote the study and practice of Haematology within the UK and more broadly throughout Europe and the rest of the world through its annual scientific meeting, educational and scientific grants, guidelines production, through its website, its journal the British Journal of Haematology. Nekton Foundation is a new marine research organisation dedicated to exploring the deep ocean, the most unknown frontier on our planet. By understanding how the oceans are changing due to human impacts and promoting awareness of marine science through communications and education, we seek to increase ocean protection and stewardship.

The objectives of the RIC is to advance the education of the public through the study and knowledge of literature, natural sciences, archaeology, history, ethnology, geology and the fine and applied arts. Magna is a science education adventure centre incorporating a visitor attraction with four pavilions focusing on Air, Earth, Fire and Water comprising over 100 interactive exhibits. The attraction is augmented by two outdoor play areas.
