Research Charities

The objects of the Society are:a) to promote the study and public education in the art and science of choral music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society shall from time to time determine;b) to support such charitable purpose or purposes, or such charitable institution or institutions as the Society shall from time to time determine.

To pay the income of the trust to the Christian Science Board of Directors of the Mother Church the First Church of Christ Scientist in Boston Massachusetts to be used in Great Britain for the promotion and extension of the religion of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy in the Christian Science text book Science and Health with key to the Scriptures.

The church's activities are governed by The Church Manual by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Sunday morning and services, a Sunday School, Wednesday Testimony Meetings, a Reading Room and an annual lecture on Christian Science are all provided for the public.

To preserve and improve the standard of donkeys in general by breeding and to encourage the use, appreciation, wellbeing and protection of the donkey.To promote public education in the various arts and sciences in connection with the donkey and the use, appreciation, care and management thereof.

We provide grant to schools to buy school equipment, books, chairs, tables, computers, science lab equipment etc, school meals for children. We provide medical help to poor, sick people and those who cannot afford treatment. We also help widows and their children. We concentrate more on education which has reflected at their results (100% pass rate).

The activities of the Society follow its objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other ways as determined by the Society through its Committee.

Our charity provides an informative and social purpose. It provides a focus point for many of the congregation, who are elderly and have no other source of communal information. It provides information which is religious, being the only local source which is Sikh related. It teaches the philosophy behind the Sikh religion.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

TO ADVANCE SREE NARAYANA DHARMA- (Services for the benefit of the community by promoting social, welfare, cultural and educational services underpinned by Sree Narayana Guru philosophy of human unity without distinction of caste, race, creed or religion).

To promote the advancement of liberal, professional and technological education and the diffussion and extension of arts, sciences and learning in the local area of East Yorkshire, North and North-East Lincolnshire: and in particular to assist the University of Hull in the objective of providing further education to the national and international community, for which it was founded.

The principal activity of the Trust during the year was continuing to pursue initiatives to increase the interest of schools and college students in the Bury St. Edmunds' area in science and technology subjects, with a view to increasing the numbers who might consider careers related to the subjects and improving their attainment.

The charity has acted to advance the teachings and philosophy of Maharishi Guru Valmik Ji, through religious teachings, activities and events . The Jagat Guru Maharishi Valmik Temple Coventry is a place of worship serving the community. The charity has also acted with efforts to relieve sickness and poverty where considered appropriate by the donation of funds to charitable organisations.

Our charity holds meetings at its rooms for the reading of original papers, discussions and lectures, it holds an annual exhibition, field meetings and workshops. It publishes a journal and entomological text books. It makes available a library and collections of entomological specimens. These activities have the object of promoting, advancing and diffusing research in biological science.

The Society is established for the benefit of the public through the encouragement and promotion of numismatic science, and particularly through the study of the coins, medals and tokens of the peoples of the British Isles and Commonwealth and the United States of America, and of such territories as may at any time be, or have been, subject to their jurisdiction.

The Charity collects donations for the free and, in some cases, subsidised treatment of poor patients at "Welfare Hospital Bharuch and Research Centre", for the promotion of health and for the advancement of education in the Bharuchi Sunni Muslim Vahora Patel Community in India.

We welcome visitors,by appointment, to utilise resources in the library and provide help with travel costs.The Bookmark UK is now incorporated into the foundation and provides, on request, copies of material in the library free of charge.We give grants to other Christian Scientists whose work is furthering the objects of our trust.Library cataloguing and archiving is work in progress.

The objectives of the Henley Symphony Orchestra are to educate the public in the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of concerts and other activities. The orchestra currently gives at least 4 public concerts per academic year and rehearses weekly during term time.

The advancement of education through the interchange of scientific knowledge, professional and administrative skills to provide an understanding of the values of free societies.

The Creation Science Movement exists to promote the biblical doctrine of Creation and to discuss the ethical and scientific implications of the scriptural account of Creation. We do this via mailings of a journal, pamphlets and books; through lectures and debates in public spaces, colleges and the like. The online space is international and our online presence is increasing.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS BORN, DOMICILED OR NORMALLY RESIDENT IN PAKISTAN, BY THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS AND OTHER FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ENABLE SUCH PERSONS TO PURSUE COURSES OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE NATURAL, APPLIED AND SOCIAL SCIENCES AT UNIVERSITIES AND SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS SITUATED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND

TO UNDERTAKE RESEARCH INTO ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL SCIENCE AND TO DISSEMINATE THE RESULTS THEREOF AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL SCIENCE.
