The object of the society shall be to promote, develop, improve and maintain public education in and the appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its Committee shall determine from time to time.

CHARITY PROVIDES MEDICAL RELIEF TO THE POOR IN INDIA & the UK. IT PROMOTES RESEARCH and EDUCATION BY MAKING GRANTS TO ENABLE DEPRIVED STUDENTS TO CONTINUE WITH THEIR STUDIES AND BY ORGANISING RELEVANT EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, PARTICULARLY IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH, HERITAGE AND CULTURE.CHARITY ALSO MAKES GRANT TO OTHER LIKE MINDED CHARITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.

The objective of Viva Voce Singers is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Provides grants, bursaries and allowances to assist with a variety of needs, specialist clothing, books or equipment for a course or to assist entry into working life. Allowance towards cost of travel in the UK or aborad for educational purposes.Studying music, arts science or maths. Applicants must be between the ages of 11 and 25 and reside (or their parent reside) in Gainsborough, Lea or Morton

ARCH aims to promote the relationship between the arts & medicine & educate the public in how these may be used to protect & preserve health. The charity arranges fundraising events which fund concerts for patients & staff in hospitals, hospices & old people's homes in England, Scotland & Wales, as well as supporting projects for children in deprived areas.

Tours hands-on mathematics exhibitions round schools.

The charity provides facilities for research (1) to investigate the problems that arise in the day to day treatment of diseases (2) to carry out research to develop new surgical methods of alleviation or cure of disease and (3) to teach new concepts for the treatment of diseases. It is currently doing this by way of supporting the Islet Isolation facility at the Nuffield Dept of Surgery.

The Leicestershire Neurological Trust provides funds for individuals within the university hospitals of Leicester to pursue individual educational and research activity in the area of neurological disease. It also funds equipment to enable individuals to pursue these activities.

The society is instituted for the cultivation and promotion of medical science, the consideration of matters affecting the medical profession and the support of medical education.

To promote and advance the study and general knowledge of medicine and science relating to the progress and development of all branches of medicine and surgery and dentistry.

ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, CARRYING OUT RESEARCH AND PROMOTING RESEARCH, THROUGH SPONSORSHIP, INTO THE NATURAL SCIENCES

Providing and advancing the study and general knowledge of science and medicine, surgery and dentistry which is achieved by the charity's wholly owned subsidiary which operates a conferencing and education facility with particular emphasis in the medical sector.To support free use of the ARK Centre by members of the public, patient groups and other community.

Care & making available for access where appropriate (including specialist research & loans) of the Guermonprez Collection within the overall Portsmouth Museums Service. The Collection comprises natural history material including preserved mammals,birds,reptiles,fish,insects,shells,botanical & geological artefacts,scientific watercolours,books, & photos of social history topics.

The Hampstead Scientific Society holds regular monthly lecture meetings, September to May, open to the public, and an AGM in June. It runs an observatory, opening to the public on clear Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings from September to April.
