TO ADVANCE THE SCIENCE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SECURE AND CAREFULLY DESIGNED SOFTWARE AND TO PROMOTE PUBLIC EDUCATION THEREIN; (B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON THE SUBJECT OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND RELATED DISCIPLINES AS WELL AS TO PROMOTE GREATER UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE IMPACT OF SOFTWARE ON SOCIETY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.

We provide support and information to individuals, families and health professionals who are affected by, or come into contact with Ring Chromosome 20 Syndrome, or r(20) for short, an ultra-rare disease, the main symptom being difficult to treat epilepsy.We raise funds to help promote research into r(20) to try to improve overall quality of life for those living with the disease.

The Cibus Foundation promotes ecosystem restoration and sustainable development by funding scientific research, education, health and nature-based solutions across all aspects of our food system. It awards grants to organisations working on biodiversity, soil and water, health, regenerative agriculture, better food and public access to nature.

We advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and the appreciation of, the art and science of singing Barbershop Harmony in both chorus and quartet forms by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.This has included weekly rehearsals, National Competitions and public performances we have gained a number of new members.

Friends is a registered charity with the objective: "To advance education for the public benefit in the latest developments in science, technology, engineering, medicine and business, by supporting the work of Imperial College London". Friends offers anyone interested in the great advances that are being made in science, medicine and technology the opportunity to learn from leading figures.

This educational charity works to address the lack of social mobility within our communities with specific interest in the life science professions. It raises funds from public fundraising events, trusts and foundations and individual donors to further its charity object which is to advance the education of young people in the subject of medicine and allied health professions.

The Creation Science Movement exists to promote the biblical doctrine of Creation and to discuss the ethical and scientific implications of the scriptural account of Creation. We do this via mailings of a journal and pamphlets, by lectures and debates in churches, colleges and in public broadcasts, and through DVDs, CDs and books. We run a permanent exhibition on The Hard, Portsmouth PO1 3DT.

We support, principally but not exclusively, the work of researchers in the School of Medicine of the University of Southampton by providing grants for initial studies, supporting PhD students with consumable costs, and the provision of equipment for both the laboratories in the School of Medicine and the newly opened Biomedical Reseach Unit ay Southampton General Hospital
