40 Degreez is aimed at meeting the need for the provision of youth services in Farnham and surrounding areas. Its need has been a recognised for some years now by schools, youth workers, the police, Farnham Town Council and Waverley Borough Council, for improving services and facilities for young people and assisting social inclusion.

To promote for the benefit of the public, the efficiency of the police in London and to promote good citizenship and greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime in the northeast London area. We serve as a mosque for the Muslim community. We also act as a centre for inter-faith education. Additionally, we provide facilities for the Islamic education of children and young people. We help to collect funds for various charity organisations. We work closely with Gravesham Borough Council and the police to increase their awareness of Islam. We provide regular outings and organised events.

To promote humane behaviour towards retired police dogs by providing financial assistance to owners of retired police dogs who have charge of animals that are in need of appropriate care and attention by reason of sickness, poor circumstances or welfare.

We run a church for Christian worship,prayer, teaching and fellowship. We run and organise youth work providing recreational,sport, leisure and training activities for young people. In liaison with health, welfare, police. probation and other agencies we offer support and assistance to vulnerable individuals,to unemployed people seeking work and temporary housing for single homeless people.

Grants are awarded to voluntary groups throughout the North West, who provide sports, leisure and health orientated activities for young people. These groups include local sports clubs, scouts, youth clubs and children with special needs. We also provide grants for other charities involved with mountain recreational activities such as footpath repairs, mountain rescue and air ambulance.

To relieve sickness and pain in the county of Cornwall and the isles of Scilly by assisting in the provision of an air ambulance helicopter.

Erect and maintain memorials to police officers and Police Staff killed in the course of their hazardous duty.

To provide emergency medical vehicles alongside approved lifesaving equipment for community first responders and established voluntary groups trained by the ambulance service to respond to 999 calls. Additionally, we aim to offer publicly accessible lifesaving resources and equipment.

From our own premises we provide a meeting place for the benefit of the people of Hockley and Hawkwell aged 55 or over. Freshly cooked lunches, light refreshments and afternoon entertainment are available, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursdays. We have our own modified ambulance to collect and return the disabled and elderly to their homes.

Trained volunteers drawn from Christian churches of different denominations providing a listening ear and practical help to the socially marginalised and the needy. We typically patrol the streets of Bury on Friday and Saturday nights between 10pm and 3am and work in partnership with the police and local Council, in order to reach and help all those in need.

We are a group of 45 unpaid volunteers who provide search and rescue services to people and animals who find themselves in difficulty, mainly in the countryside. We are available all day every day, whatever the weather. An Operational Support Group aid the Search and Rescue members. We depend on donations and fundraising. We assist both the Police and the Ambulance Service and other services.

We operate a 24hr 365 days a year collection and delivery service to support the medical requirements of our local hospitals. We transport items such as blood, samples, drugs, breast milk, medical equipment and key documents to support hospitals and patients and to relieve the costs of transport to the NHS. We also facilitate the daily delivery and collection of blood to our local air ambulance.

The protection and preservation of human life and the relief of sickness by providing high quality pre-hospital medical treatment through a network of volunteer doctors and paramedics.

To provide assistance to police officers who are either serving or retired members of the Thames Valley Police Benevolent Fund, their widows, widowers and dependants, who are regarded as being in necessitous circumstances. The charity therefore provides public benefit to those persons.

BEARS provides immediate medical care in support of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The scheme operates across Essex and provides trained and equipped Doctors and Paramedics to respond to emergency calls. All the clinicians have undergone additional training to their base medical qualification to provide advanced care to any patient that is ill or injured within the county.

TO ADVANCE THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF FIRST RESPONDERS WHO SUFFER FROM POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER, PHYSICAL HARM &/OR MENTAL HARM ATTRIBUTABLE TO OR ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR EMPLOYMENT. TO ADVANCE IN LIFE & HELP YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROVIDING SUPPORT & ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES & CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE & RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

The charity is based in London and operates both locally and nationally while assisting the police and other search and rescue teams in the search for vulnerable missing people.
