The Haiti Hospital Appeal delivers high-quality, life-saving medical programmes in the North of Haiti, including a healthcare clinic, ambulance service, respite care centre for disabled children (including fostering, and community-based services), spinal rehabilitation centre, maternity centre (including neonatal care), paediatric care, and an inclusive sports centre for disability sport.

OBJECT: TO RAISE FUNDS TO PURCHASE VITAL LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT FOR NEONATAL UNITS ACROSS THE UNITED KINGDOM. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PERSONAL APPEALS FOR DONATIONS; FUNDRAISING EVENTS; VARIOUS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

Search and Rescue work

The main activities of the club are to save lives and prevent drowning, and to provide education and training in all areas relating to lifesaving, rescue and resuscitation for the benefit of the public in St Ives through providing training sessions on the beach and in the pool, and taking part in lifesaving competitions and other events.

Wittering Surf Life Saving Club contributes to making beaches safer and more enjoyable for everyone through training, fitness and education. The club will also provide support for other organisations providing beach safety cover.

The organisation intends to provide funding for life-saving equipment. Subject to available funds and the needs of the public the organisation may further develop the services and facilities it provides in the future.

We were established to provide relief and assistance of people in the UK or any part of the world who are the victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe in particular by the supply of medical aid or search & rescue service to such persons. We provide training and education to support and that build capacity and resilience. We are also the umbrella body to other organisations.

Mountain Rescue Team

SARDA (South Wales) Mountain Rescue Search Dogs objective is to save life and relieve suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accidents, or who are missing, on the hills or open country or in urban areas, predominately, but not exclusively, in the areas of South and Mid Wales.

The Charity will carry out activities for the public benefit to provide relief by such means as are charitable, for children and adults, by the provision of grants in relation to: poverty; education; religion; health or saving lives; citizenship or community development; the arts, culture, heritage or science; amateur sport; human rights; the environment; animal welfare; and rescue services.
