The charity teaches people to swim, offers life saving, water polo, long distance and open water swimming, and competition swimming to national standard. Dover Lifeguard Club is an accredited swim 21 club.

Providing immediate care to accident victims. All active members are qualified general practitioners or paramedics. Respond only to 999 calls for which they receive no form of renumeration whatsoever. Our charity provides for their clothing, equipment and training up to the required NHS standard.

40 Degreez is aimed at meeting the need for the provision of youth services in Farnham and surrounding areas. Its need has been a recognised for some years now by schools, youth workers, the police, Farnham Town Council and Waverley Borough Council, for improving services and facilities for young people and assisting social inclusion.

1) To provide Aid and Emergency Relief to people in Africa, Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. 2) To assist other larger charities who have established people and resources in the areas mentioned to fulfil objective 1.

From our own premises we provide a meeting place for the benefit of the people of Hockley and Hawkwell aged 55 or over. Freshly cooked lunches, light refreshments and afternoon entertainment are available, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursdays. We have our own modified ambulance to collect and return the disabled and elderly to their homes.

The charity provides a volunteer search and rescue service to members of the public in distress on the North York Moors, Howardian Hills, Yorkshire Wolds and in any other such place as requested.

BEHT raises funds through fund raising events in UK and through individual donors and well-wishers. The funds raised are used in India towards education and health, to provide relief to the poor, handicapped, disabled, sick and the aged and also provide relief for victims of disasters. To promote humane behaviour towards retired police dogs by providing financial assistance to owners of retired police dogs who have charge of animals that are in need of appropriate care and attention by reason of sickness, poor circumstances or welfare.

The principal objects of the Trust are to provide the necessary funds and income in providing assistance for poor sick and bereaved Armenians of all ages and classes and wherever they may be. In the collection and distribution of food, medicines and clothing in all wartime disasters or famine. Provide help and support to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and who are considering the possibility of a breast reconstruction following mastectomy. The Group also provides support to those who have recovered from breast cancer and are considering reconstruction some time later. The Charity holds regular Support Group meetings that are open to all patients.

Wildlife & Welfare supports animal welfare, environmental and wildlife conservation charities all around the world with expertise and partnerships to enable them to achieve more. We are establishing and delivering new projects in locations where no other charities are working and providing a worldwide response to natural disasters and emergencies.

For the public benefit, the relief and treatment of sick and wounded children in any part of the world who are the victims of sudden impact events such as war or natural disaster. Save A Child will provide medical support to health services and health care workers treating children in the affected regions and help evacuate sick or vulnerable children to safety.

The charity supports communities worldwide, directly or in partnership with other like minded registered charities and voluntary bodies, by providing relief to the poor, disabled, sick, and elderly; advancing education; developing land and buildings, including educational and recreational facilities for public benefit; and offering aid to victims of natural or manmade disasters.

PACT supports and develops projects, particularly those in which the Police are involved, which aim to improve the quality of life by reducing crime and the fear of crime in the communities of north Wales and educating young people about the consequences of crime. Young people's projects are also supported through our Crimebeat fund which PACT manages with the High Sheriffs of Clwyd and Gwynedd.
