To provide assistance to police officers who are either serving or retired members of the Thames Valley Police Benevolent Fund, their widows, widowers and dependants, who are regarded as being in necessitous circumstances. The charity therefore provides public benefit to those persons.

BEARS provides immediate medical care in support of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The scheme operates across Essex and provides trained and equipped Doctors and Paramedics to respond to emergency calls. All the clinicians have undergone additional training to their base medical qualification to provide advanced care to any patient that is ill or injured within the county.

The relief of poverty, sickness and distress of any person who is suffering as a result of drough, earthquake, flood or other nutural disaster or who by reason of his her social economic conditions is need of such assistance.

At their discretion, the trustees can make grants for any other charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the United Kingdom.

Protect and preserve good health and safety of human life in an emergency by the provision of trained volunteers and search dogs (?Volunteers?) to assist organisations involved in the search and rescue of missing persons. Advance the education of the public in all matters relating to lowland search and rescue.

We obtain, transport and deliver aid directly to people who need it most, either directly or through known and trusted partners. If practical, we will respond to emergencies anywhere, but our focus has had to change from the Balkans to refugee crises in Europe, and currently Ukraine

The charity is based in London and operates both locally and nationally while assisting the police and other search and rescue teams in the search for vulnerable missing people.

Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade is a voluntary shore based coastal rescue team. We specialise in Rope Rescue, Water Rescue & Coastal Search and Rescue. Operating from the Watch House Museum in Tynemouth, we need to raise at least £30,000 each year to maintain our rescue team, free-to-visit museum and to provide our water safety educational offering.

We meet in the Vue Cinema on Sundays for worship, guidance and community. Some 60 to 70 people have been attending. We also ran 2 Alpha courses throughout the year. We commit to giving to other charities in the UK and abroad and providing aid and disaster relief where needed around the world.

We provide a rescue service to people and animals lost or injured in remote moorland areas of Swaledale and Wensleydale, North Yorkshire.

We operate a 24hr 365 days a year collection and delivery service to support the medical requirements of our local hospitals. We transport items such as blood, samples, drugs, breast milk, medical equipment and key documents to support hospitals and patients and to relieve the costs of transport to the NHS. We also facilitate the daily delivery and collection of blood to our local air ambulance.

Saving lives in wild and remote places. We provide a 365 days a year, 24/7 search and mountain rescue service to walkers and climbers in the Dark Peak, as well as assisting the police with lowland search and rescue of vulnerable persons.
