Saving of lives Charities

We raise funds and make donations for projects which are aimed at alleviating poverty in communities which are in need, whether in the UK or elsewhere. In particular, we make contributions to emergency relief efforts in countries where disasters have occurred. To do this, we partner with reputable third parties operating on the ground in such communities.

Mercy Welfare Trust (MWT) is an International relief and development agency based in London, UK. MWT was established in 2011 with the aim of alleviating poverty and suffering of people affected by natural disasters and conflicts around the world. MWT aims to bring about a lasting change in the lives of people by implementing long term sustainable development programmes as well as emergency relief.

THE CHARITY MANAGES A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR NEIGHBOURHOOD OF HURST IN ASHTON-UNDER-LYNE. THE BUILDING IS USED BY A RANGE OF GROUPS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED BY THE CHARITY THROUGH ITS SECTIONS E.G. YOUNG AT HEART AND JUNIOR YOUTH CLUB.IT ALSO PROVIDES SPACE FOR ORGANISATIONS TO MANAGE THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE YOUTH SERVICE, POLICE SERVICE AND A RANGE OF VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS.

The charity gives grants to other charitable organisations and individuals for the relief of poverty and assistance to focusing on education and sustainable projects. On occassion the charity will support victims of war and natural disasters .

PROVIDING AID FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY NATURAL AND MAN MADE DISASTERS SUCH AS EARTHQUAKES, HURRICANES, FLOODS, TSUNAMIS, DROUGHT, FIRE, ACTS OF WAR OR TERRORISM, AVIATION, MARINE OR ON-SHORE OCCURRENCES OR ANY OTHER DISASTER ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.

Advancement of health, including by providing and supporting the provision of PPE, for health and social care workers. Advancement of education, including by improving or supporting the improvement of learning opportunities for children and young people during Covid19. The relief and assistance of people in any part of the world who are victims of war or natural disaster, trouble, or catastrophe.

To offer a supportive environment for young people parents/carers dealing with youth related issues, e.g. school exclusions and gang activity. Workshops as follows:Trading Places police young people, knife awareness, Bullying, Relationship, Baby me not, Consequences. Summer programs, Family support Health, Education, Employment, College,welfare, benefits, counselling, health, drug advice

We provide a search and rescue service for people who are lost, injured or endangered and appropriate medical care to mitigate further harm, injury or distress to such people. We do this particularly in rural upland areas but also in semi-rural and urban environments primarily in the counties of Northumberland and Tyne & Wear.

Main Charitable Objective To promote humane behaviour towards animals and livestock throughout the United Kingdom by providing appropriate care for domestic or farm animals which are missing or have strayed from their homes and are therefore suffering and in distress by providing and co-ordinating search and rescue operations and through providing education to domestic animal owners.

1) To advance the Buddhist faith and religion for the public benefit.2) To provide the relief of financial needs and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the form of money or other means deemed suitable for persons or organisations including the provision of medical aid.

To train and educate all members of our community Surf Life Savinf skills and support our RNLI Lifeguards with voluntary patrols and future lifeguards.

ADVANCEMENT OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES.PROVISION OF RECREATION AND LEISURE FACILITIES.HUMANITARIAN RELIEF,SUPPORTING THOSE IN NEED

Our primary function is the purchase of essential life saving equipment for the neurosurgeons at Hurstwood Park Hospital, Haywards Heath.

Church services & house groups for worship, learning, mutual support in Yeadon and surrounding areas. Pre-school group for carers and toddlers. We give money & support both locally & across the world for outreach, development and disaster relief. We put on outreach events in the community, teaching events for Christians and provide premises for local community events and churches.

The Hope Collective aims to galvanise the innate kindness and compassion of people across the globe, to ?club together? with the sole intention of raising as much as possible to heal and nurture the spirit within each child and young adult in need; helping them to create a better life and future. The projects will be in developing countries, worn torn communities and areas of natural disaster.

Core activities include fundraising to provide:- Professional and peer support to families,- Improved care by funding training for hospital staff and related services,- Life-saving medical equipment, - Improved ward facilities.

Promotes family values, religious tolerance, integration and freedom of expression.Opposes extremism, radicalisation, hate preaching and violence.Provides prayer facilities, Arabic and Quran lessons, social and religious consultations plus humanitarian aid.Contributes to Council activities in education, residents association, evaluation of Services, prevent policy and community engagement.

Provision of a volunteer based search and rescue service in the UK, working alongside the police and other emergency services.

The provision of a building (mosque) for the five-times daily congregational prayer;The provision of islamic education for muslim children and adults;Promoting good community relations between persons of different racial and faith groups;Raising awareness and understanding of islamic beliefs and practices;Raising funds for charitable purposes such as poverty relief and natural disasters.

Brighton Surf Life Saving Club is a charity of over 100 volunteers helping to make our beaches a safer and more enjoyable place for everyone. BSLSC volunteers have been providing beach lifeguard training and patrolling in the local community for more than 60 years..
