To teach life saving techniques by prevention and/or rescue in a beach environment. Train adults and children in life saving skills / swimming/ rescue/resuscitation and train to a nationally recognised certificated level - often feeding into RNLI roles.

SCIM has been advancing the Christian faith by providing for a place of worship, training, holding of conferences, seminars, and training courses.SCIM has also been coordinating and cooperating with local bodies such as the police, local food banks and neighbourhood watch committees in Aldershot and Reading

The conditions in the Bristol Channel can be treacherous, LMSLSC provides continuous voluntary service on the beach.The club is located at the beach in Llantwit Major and we provide a voluntary lifeguard service and first aid point.LMSLSC has a high standing in the local community providing sport and education from nippers to masters.

Winthorpe Community Partnership is a resident led collaboration between residents and service providers from NHS, Council, Police, Housing Association an others with the aims of providing the community with more choice, more opportunities and increase local knowledge and skills to make our community a happier healthy inclusive place to live.Along side all of this we run clubs and activities.

LeicSAR is a lowland search and rescue unit operating throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.Our primary role is to assist the Police in the search for vulnerable missing persons in urban, rural and lowland areas. This includes children, the elderly or those suffering from an illness including dementia, depression or mental health issues.

The Foundation supports the Lions Clubs in England and Wales to provide Humanitarian aid, Disaster Relief, and Youth programmes.

Humanitarian relief and support of people in Yemen. These beneficiaries would include individuals and families living in poverty and internally displaced people. We aim to provide tangible relief and save lives. We aim to keep children in education and work to to encourage people to become financially independent in an country that is suffering one of the world's worst humanitarian disasters.

Leukaemia Busters funds potentially life saving research into the development of new improved and safer biologic therapies for patients with haematological malignancies (blood cancers). Leukaemia Busters, formerly a charitable trust registered in 1992 (reg No 1010957) now operates as a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) since 21 May 2014.

The advancement of education for local young people of all religious and ethnic backgrounds in a nurturing environment. Classroom based learning and organised activities in an effort to promote mutual respect of all others. To fundraise for emergency relief to long term development projects in areas such as water, sanitation, health and nutrition to help the poor worldwide.

Rotary is a social and philanthropic organisation operating internationally. Local branches such as Congleton meet regularly socially and also organize various events locally to raise money for various charities. Funds raised are distributed to mainly local charities (approx 70%) & some national and international in response to foreign disaster appeals.

The main aim of TEECH is to improve the health of children and communities by creating bathrooms in schools in the Republic of Moldova, Eastern Europe, by volunteers, where no indoor bathrooms exist. The charity also collects, transports and hand delivers humanitarian aid to Eastern Europe. We also carry out a Christmas 'shoe box' gift and food delivery in December/January each year.
