The Norfolk Constabulary Benevolent Fund was established to assist in needy cases of members, former members, their widows, orphans or dependants. It does this by paying grants and interest free loans where necessary and by the provision of holiday homes for rest and recuperation and for respite or convalescence.

WE WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DEVON & SOMERSET FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE / LOCAL COMMUNITES ON COMMUNITY SAFETY. OUR WORK INCLUDES, FIRE PREVENTION, ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR E.G FIRESETTING, COMMUNITY RESILIENCE AND SAFE DRIVING. WE PROVIDE ADVICE AND EXPERTISE, MAKE GRANTS TO LOCAL GROUPS IN NEED, RAISE FUNDING, ASSIST OTHER GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDING AND HELP TRAIN AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHERS.

Provision of both emergency and continuing care to any area,region or country in Central or Eastern Europe for persons,in particular children, who are suffering hardship or distress by reason of political adversity,civil conflict or natural disaster.

The principle activity of the Team is assisting the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services. We assist in the search for and evacuation of casualties who the other Emergency Services may be unable to assist.

-Culture training & events - Teach Mandarin, interpretation services for authorities such as police, MSPCC, Age Concern - help to promote community & Chinatown. - Provide advocacy/ advice/ information to those whose english is not their first language/ elderly/ old people children/ young people.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of wild animals in Kent in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain facilities for the rescue, reception, care and treatment of such animals.

Support for charitable initiatives both internationally (eg earthquakes/floods) and in the local community (eg hospices & entertaining oaps).

The church is involved with general charity and overseas famine relief. As a church is holds regular Sunday meetings and services/prayer meetings midweek. It is also involved with running childrens clubs on Sundays and midweek.

The charity gives donations to other trusted local charities to help alleviate poverty, provide health care to those in dire need and provide relief to disaster stricken areas of the world.

To engage and improve in underground, fell & mountain search & rescue and in animal rescue; to support safety procedures in associated activities and to assist police, ambulance and fire authorities in these and similar activities.

TWSMRT operates 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. We provide a mountain, search and rescue service for the whole of County Durham, from the high fells in the west to the coastal communities of the North Sea. The Team responds to requests by the Police to a range of incident types, from injured or lost people in the hills to vulnerable missing people in urban settings.

Including regular Mobile clinics and camps for hepatitis,dental and eye problems. Water Pump installations and disaster recovery as and when required. Its latest project is the opening of a Kidney Care Centre in Jhelum.

Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern provides a service to individuals, groups and organisations, in particular the elderly and people with disabilities. It does this by providing a community resource centre, running a wellbeing and befriending scheme, providing and maintaining a minibus-ambulance, publishing a free newsletter and community directory, offering support to local voluntary organisations.

The charity operates the Greasby Community Centre. The charity also plays a leading role in all community matters, working with local traders, the Health Centre, Library, schools, churches, police and others to make Greasby a place where people want to live and work.

Collecting Aid and raising funds in England to enable us to help and supply the Aid to the Ukraine. The funds are raised to carry this out. The Charity supports centres and orphanages in the Ukraine. The people we help are mainly children, disabled and elderly.

Surrey Search & Rescue is a voluntary specialist search team that assists the emergency services to find missing vulnerable adults and children. We are on-call 24 hours a day, with a team of 80 plus people and search dogs, to respond across Surrey and surrounding areas
