The FOWSART Charity exists to raise funds to help the Water Search and Rescue Team which help to provide response and operational support to the Emergency Services in a range of situations varying from providing operational & tactical support during times of flooding or civil emergency

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IS PROCLAIMED AND PEOPLE ARE CHALLENGED TO PUT THEIR FAITH INTO ACTION, TO BE OBEDIENT TO GOD AND TO BE GOOD CITIZENS IN OUR COMMUNITY. SUPPORT ALSO IS GIVEN TO SELECTED ORGANISATIONS THAT SPECIALISE IN BIBLE TEACHING, ESTABLISHING CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIPS, SOCIAL PROBLEMS AND RELIEF FOR THOSE DEVASTATED BY NATURAL DISASTERS AROUND THE WORLD.

Touchstone Projects supports motivational and inspirational programmes in prisons and immigration detention centres in the UK and abroad.Other supported projects include educational programmes in Africa as well as poverty and disaster relief in Africa and Asia.

To enable the fund to carry out its purpose namely A) To assist by monetary grants such members of the fund and their widows, children and dependants as may be in necessitous or impoverished circumstances. B) To make grants to police charities and subscriptions to such other charities as the trustees may decide.

1- Mental health awareness: People of colour youth seminars, men of colour health groups and women2- Harnessing stigma in autism and learning disabilities in people of colour UK3- Improving community relations for a better mental health and wellbeing: youth of colour with Merseyside police @annual expo Liverpool. 4- STEM subjects and mental health in schools for children of colour.

Transport for disabled and elderly infirm people, provided by voluntary drivers.

The charity concerns itself with supporting projects in developing countries to do with education, the alleviation of poverty, care of children, human rights, promoting sport and the environment. The charity operates alongside the Projects Abroad group of companies which arranges worthwhile volunteering experiences in the developing world and it supports the projects they are involved with.

THE CHARITY COLLECTS AND DISTRIBUTES RELIEF AID TO COUNTRIES WHERE SUCH A NEED HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED, INCLUDING MEDICAL AID, BEDS, CLOTHING, TOYS AND BOOKS, AND SCHOOL EQUIPMENT, UTILISING WAREHOUSING AND SHIPPING CONTAINERS.

Race Against Blood Cancer's goal is to increase the volume and diversity of people who register as potentially life-saving stem cell donors.Our ultimate goal is to increase the number of people from minority groups ? whether defined by race, ethnicity or gender ? which are vastly underrepresented on the donor registry as stem cell or bone marrow donors.

Fund raising concerts

A charity with general charitable purposes to provide life saving defibrillators to local communities. And provide life saving CPR and the knowledge in use of Defibrillators through community awareness classes.

Provides technical assistance and training for selected overseas Churches in a variety of media related projects. The Trust occasionally makes modest grants to overseas Churches for selected humanitarian relief projects.

We aim to reduce the psychological consequences of war and disaster on children by training responsible adults to implement the evidence-based group interventions that we have developed. We regularly train people from many different countries. We promote research into the effects of traumatic events in order to improve the help provided.

The object and activities the Trust are the preservation, repair, insurance, maintenance, improvement, upkeep, beautification, embellishment and reconstruction of the Wymondham Abbey in the County of Norfolk and of the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, organs, ornaments, and chattels in such building.

The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. The overriding criterion for assistance being immediate need and financial difficulty for example as a result of illness, bereavement, natural disaster such as earthquakes/floods or in areas of conflict.

To relieve the need of retired and serving police officers in hardship or distress who are disabled as a consequence of being injured on duty.

(1)The prevention and reduction of loss of life by drowning on the beach;(2)The prevention and development of surf life saving, for the resuscitation of the rescued and application of first aid.

Arcaid is established for the relief of persons anywhere in the world outside the United Kingdom who are suffering any form of hardship or privation as a result of drought, flood, or other natural disaster, or war, oppression or other human activity, or who by reason of their social or economic conditions are in need of such assistance.

We are a charity based in Walton, Pakistan that provides medical facilities for the poor and disadvantaged people. We cater for around 50-60 patients daily and offer this service free of charge. We have recently purchased an ambulance where we can now reach out to even more patients. Our services now include a blood testing laboratory and ultra sound facilities.
