Computers for Charities provides IT / Educational support to UK and Overseas Charities and Voluntary organisations. Primarily as developers of educational and vocational initiatives to aid registered organisatons. Supply of refurbished equipment and resources. Plus involvement of humanitarian aid where required.

WAGS Retired Police Dog Charity is an independent charity set up to help the retired Police Dogs from Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire and Somerset Police. WAGS provides financial assistance in emergency situations where a large vets bill may mean a decision is made about the dogs future based on cost. We are hoping with WAGS help any decisions are based only on the dogs welfare needs.

Providing both financial and practical support to persons in the local area who are vulnerable and/or in need. Financial grants are also made through LCIF outside of the local area in the event of major natural disasters .

Volunteers are Christians with a love and concern for society. They are available to help people coming out of pubs and clubs to find their way home safely on Friday and Saturday nights. They will provide support through signposting, giving out flipflops, handing out water, picking up and disposing of glass bottles, and waiting with those in need of medical support from the Ambulance service.

SCOUTS SANS FRONTIERES provides humanitarian aid, material and logistic assistance to people who in need are the homeless, refugees, and victims of natural disasters, wars, and famines. Humanitarian relief efforts are provided for humanitarian purposes and include natural disasters and man-made disasters by volunteer scout leaders, wood badge, 3 or 4 beads holders around the world.

The fund assists serving and retired officers and their partners in times of need. As well as providing financial support by way of grants or interest free loans to those suffering hardship, we also cover out-of-pocket expenses incurred in using convalescent homes which provide a range of therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of officers.

The Charity raises funds from general public and donors by holding events and carrying out projects. They make donations to support disaster relief and projects around Watford area from the funds raised and they also take part in community services.

The prevention or relief of poverty and humanitarian support in EMEA and APAC with particular focus on Bangladesh and the UK. The charity achieves this through providing grants, gifts and services to individuals in need, charities and other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty and providing humanitarian relief.

Providing Food as emergency relief for local people in Warminster and the surrounding area. This is short term aid to help people over a crisis. Recipients are referred by front line care workers who either hold emergency food boxes to give directly to people in need or issue a voucher which the person can bring to Food bank Centre and exchange for food.

Asharaf Union Trust (AUT) works to relieve poverty locally in the UK and internationally. We support the poor and needy with their every need - food, housing, delivering emergency aid in response to crisis situations and providing healthcare. We also empowering societies through education and training.

PORTHTOWAN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB OPERATES ON THE NORTH CORNISH COAST TRAINING LIFEGUARDS IN THE SKILLS OF SAVING LIVES AT SEA. WE HAVE AN ACTIVE JUNIOR AND NIPPER SECTION, ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTAKE IN OUR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING AND EXCITING SERVICE. OUR SENIOR SECTION INCLUDES OUR SURF BOAT TEAMS WHICH ARE CONSISTENTLY THE BEST IN EUROPE.

1. Religious ceremony held on 09 November 2014 during which, ?1125 were received as donations from the community members.2. ?1106 were spent on religious ceremony, including Coach for the elderly.3. A coach trip to Blackpool was arranged for poor families and children.4. ?10000 were donated to DEC for Nepal Earth quake disaster for the help of people who lost their homes.

The trust continues to support a wide range of charitable causes. Our priorities include responding promptly to some disasters providing money, water purification and shelter/survival kits as appropriate, balanced with consideration of literacy, health, poverty and other humanitarian projects - particularly those promoting self-help - locally, nationally and internationally.

The Charity manages the Community Centre on behalf of its member organizations such as the Bridge Club, the Self Help group, the St John ambulance etc., leasing it from the Sefton leisure department and managing the programme of activities.

A child-centred volunteer-led organisation that trains and supports local people working with children and young people traumatised by conflict, violence and disaster.
