St. Anna is a Christian charity committed to the relief of persons suffering hardship as a result of drought, earthquake, flood or other natural disaster, or who by reason of their social or economic conditions are in need of assistance.St. Anna works primarily in East Africa, and its activities are made available to all without regard to race, religion or ethnic background.

The relief of financial need and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster living in Sri Lanka and other countries in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable)

Offering assistance to the needy at home and abroad by donating aids in various means especially in disaster areas e.g the Haiti appeal. Members who become needy e.g through loss of employment receive assistance with their bills etc. Assistance is also extended to non-members. The public is always encouraged to attend meetings. We have a range of activities available such as rainbows, brownies, St. John Ambulance, Gardening Club, afternoon plus (social group for the young at heart), Boogie Bounce, Keep Fit, Zumba, tap dance, Stay and Play, Coffee Shop and we also hire out our premises for parties or social events.

Doncaster Lions Club serves its local Doncaster community as well as helping people internationally. Its work with people of all ages who are disabled and or disadvantaged benefits not only those who are helped but also the wider community by making Doncaster a better place to live and work. Grants are also made to some national or international appeals to relieve poverty, disasters or disease.

The Leonard Trust distributes its income in amounts varying from £500 to £5000 to registered charities ranging from small local ones (Hampshire) to large nationals. Historically we have tended to concentrate on Christian based charities, mental health, and overseas aid, often in response to specific disaster relief. Our remit is wide and we also support many smaller and diverse charities.
