The object of the charity is to further the education and training of children, assist in relief of poverty, provide overseas aid/famine relief and assist in promoting Hindu religion with the donations collected from private individuals. To advance the education to save the world environment by making grants of money to environment saving projects.

To save life, whether by prevention or rescue, from the beach, surf or aquatic environment.

ARF TRUST operates in the Sylhet region of Bangladesh providing relief and aid to eradicate poverty and also provides health care, medical aid and emergency disaster and famine relief. ARF TRUST aims to promote and advance education, training and development of skills and employment.

Providing relief to those in need in due to poverty and ill health within the Azad Kashmir area of Pakistan through: Emergency and disaster relief in conditions such as floods, earthquakes, landsliding, droughts, heatwaves, support in winter season. Food, distribution of rations and uncooked food. To advance health by providing access to high quality cataract treatment for people in the Azad

The Club organises events to raise money to help individuals and organisations at home and abroad in a variety of ways, eg by providing aqua boxes to produce drinkable water, shelter boxes (tents etc.) in disaster ares of the world and financing the digging of wells. It also uses funds to sponsor the youth of Thanet in various way, i.e direct sponsorship, RYLA, art competition and school proms.

THE CLUB OPERATES IN THE KEIGHLEY AND THE AIREVALLEY. THE CLUB SUPPORTS WORTHY CAUSES AND CHARITIES IN THE LOCAL AREA AND LIONS CHARITIES INTERNATIONALLY AND NATIONALLY. THE CLUB MEMBERS WORK WITHOUT REWARD, ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DISCUSS POLITICS OR RELIGION. THE AIMS ARE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF.

Operating in the UK, allocating and distributing grants and food packs/food banks to help with relief of poverty. Providing educational resources and help to those children unable to access education or whom have no support mechanisms in place outside of the UK.Providing help and relief to victims of war and natural disaster outside of the UK by means of grants and/medical supplies and equipment

The Choir gives concerts both charitable and non-charitable for the benefit of local communities and also for communities further afield; this year we have given concerts for various charities including Yorkshire air ambulance,Prince of Wales Hospice(Pontefract), Knottingley company shop. We have also raised money by concerts and other means for the Alzheimer's Society.In 2024 Prostate Cancer.

The propogation of the Christian gospel, and assisting in humanitarian aid projects, and holding occasional Christian conferences as well.

We aim to promote good citizenship and greater public participation in the prevention and solution of crime and in so doing to promote, encourage and develop close cooperation between the public and the Metropolitan Police Service. We send out weekly crime bulletins to Coordinators. We send out regular Newsletters to all coordinators for distribution to households within their watch.

The provision of buildings, facilities and open space for use by local and wider community for a range of recreation/sports and other activities. i.e. art/lace making/karate/dance/aerobics classes. Indoor bowls, tumble tots (pe for infants). WI/Towns Women's Guild, parish council. Police & community meetings. Parties/weddings etc. Conferences/exhibitions, polling station (elections).

To relive the need of those who are victims of natural disaster or who are need by reason of proverty, sickness or distress through material and financial and by the provision of advice and information.To advance education through provision of English language classes and lesson in the language, culture and history of Kanaighat.To provide and assist in the provision of recreational facilities.

Relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.Recent activities as directed by the club have been humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters, general humanitarian aid, educational assistance.

HELPING DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES FOLLOWING NATURAL DISASTERS BY ESTABLISHMENT OF LOCAL VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

Glastonbury & Street Lions Club (CIO) provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the area. The Club also donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals.

Income is mainly raised from an annual Spring Fair and a Christmas Appeal. Money is spent to help the sick and infirmed in the area. We also purchase medical equipment for local doctors' surgeries and make grants to charities providing healthcare locally - Hospital at Home, Air Ambulances, Cancer Care Services, Sue Ryder Hospice, Oundle First Responders, Northants Blind Association etc.

To provide rescue services for humans & livestock in times of disaster (both natural and unnatural) To assist groups and individuals to prepare for natural disaster.To help in the teaching of survival skills, both home and abroad

We engage, train and mobilize Christian volunteers, to be relevant in public life as salt and light addressing issues of vulnerability and social exclusion through the principle of caring, listening and helping people. We work in partnership with the police, local authorities and other voluntary organisations to achieve our goals and attain greater social cohesion in our community.

The Club raises money to support mainly local charitable causes (e.g. Food Banks) - but, in keeping with Lions objectives, also supports certain national and international charities (e.g. Prostate Cancer and LCIF Disaster Relief). We also provide 'service' in accordance with our motto "We Serve". Examples include being volunteers marshals at the local fireworks display.

General charitable purposes including,education,feeding,caring,relief from poverty,economic community development amongst the very poor. Helping the disabled with schooling and medical aid. Preaching the Gospel and Relief in times of disasters.

Burntwood and District Community First Responders is a voluntary organisation that responds to 999 calls on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service. We currently respond in two vehicles, one covering the Burntwood area and the other Cannock Chase. We are a team of 9 operational responders who also assist with fundraising for the group and 5 fundraisers.

The Charity is established to raise money in the UK to undertake the relief of poverty and sickness and the advancement of education overseas in India. The precise area of benefit is the State of Chhattisgarh where in the district of Kanker the Trust has built a small school and clinic, carries out outreach work, provides a free 24/7 ambulance service and funds referrals to specialised hospitals.
