To accept casualities if member of the public or vet practice is able to bring them to us as we no longer have funds to replace or operate an ambulance.Tell young people & other groups how to protect wildlife.

The Charity provides a Chaplaincy service in the Borough of Basingstoke and Deane principally, but not exclusively, by way of visiting work-places. There are also community chaplains in the Town Centre (Festival Place), one in a local Doctors' surgery one day per week, one who visits the Police etc.

The raising of money for local & rotary international charities (such as Polio Plus and disaster aid); the funding of courses to help young people to raise aspirations or aquire leadership skills and support the local learning disability community as well as schools and community projects in Nepal.

To raise funds and distribute these funds in UK charities and other overseas charities in Africa, India.Donate worldwide at the time of natural disaster.

To promote humane behaviour towards retired police dogs in Lancashire by providing financial assistance to the owners of retired police dogs who have charge of animals that are in need of appropriate care & attention by reason of sickness, poor circumstance or ill usage

The charity is Human and Civil Rights organisation working for Human Rights, human dignity, Anti-human trafficking, Anti-Slavery, humanitarian aid, Women and Children Rights, including shelter, medicines, legal assistance, Justice and working against Corruption and Terrorism to bring Peace.

New lifeguard station 2010. Provide education and training in surf lifesaving skills and first aid procedures. Improve Voluntary Patrols and support paid lifeguards on both Sandy Bay and Trecco Bay. Attend/host events with SLSA Wales also affiliated to RLSS. Adopted Sandy Bay under the Marine Conservation Scheme and take part in regularly Beach Cleans with the support of Keep Wales Tidy.

Bridport Lions Club is part of the International Lions ,the largest service organisation in the world.Bridport Lions raise money to help both local organisations such as schools,Youth organisations,those in need,and national charities and disaster appeals.

The charity has provided funding and management resources to the emergency intervention and related activities carried out in northern Uganda know as the "Stamp Out Sleeping sickness" (SOS) campaign. The charity has also participated in overall health services delivery through the MyChild Card system as well as interventions in cleaning water sources etc.

The Charity deals with general charitable purposes. In particular we promote education/training, relief of poverty, overseas aid and famine relief, religious activities. We help children/young people, elderly/old people, people of a particular ethnic or racial origin, other charities/voluntary bodies. In general we carry out the above by making grants available to individuals and organisations.

Cadets can gain skills that assist employers, for example self-confidence, leadership and good communication skills. Further skills learnt by the youngsters include life saving, Seamanship, Canoeing, Navigation, Communications, Sailing, Cookery, Rowing, Swimming, Wind Surfing. The unit also has a very successful band which performs at many local events throughout the year
