Activities & Mission

The Silver Star Diabetes charity seeks to educate the public about type 2 diabetes. This is done through the use of a Mobile Diabetes Unit (MDU) which offers free diabetes risk assessments to the general public. The MDUs travel out into the community, to places of work, worship, community events, High Street and retail parks testing the public for free for diabetes and offering lifestyle advice.
