CARESCO works to meet needs within the community of Sawtry and the surrounding villages in the county of Cambridgeshire. To do this CARESCO runs a day care club, a weekly cafe, a car scheme, a Christmas Day party, a carers group, the local food bank, a prescription delivery service, a men's shed, a social club and a charity shop. CARESCO also edits and publishes the village magazine.

Sheltered housing for retired or soon to be retired

Providing a safe environment for young carers aged 8 to 18 years, living within the County of Essex, to help reduce their isolation and enhance individual wellbeing.Providing emotional support and respite to young carers.Offering educational and social opportunities that will enhance personal lifeskills and improve well being.

Social work activities without accommodation for the elderly and disabled

Helping young people within the public care system to develop skills and capabilities to participate in society as independent, mature individuals. Providing support, training and personal development opportunities to build aspirations. Helping socially excluded young people in the care system overcome inequality and disadvantage.

Provision of sheltered housing for the elderly

Works with partner organisations in developing countries to:1) facilitate provision of support for carers and their families, bringing them better health, wellbeing and economic security and 2) bring about systemic change in the work of governments, charities and other agencies so they recognise and respond to the needs of carers in the developing world.

To provide accommodation for persons with autism, both for respite care and supported living.To provide funds as grants, whenever possible, to aid families with autistic children in need.

The main activities of SHOC are to provide: Housing Advice and Tenancy Sustainment; Benefits, Grants and Money Management Support, Health Management Programme, Education and Employment Programme and Home Comforts such as hot meals, bathing and laundry facilities, clothing and toiletries. These services are all provided from our daycentre which is a safe and secure environment.

Provision of day care services for the elderly

El Shaddai provides care for vulnerable children living in Goa India. This is achieved through its 6 Residential Homes for younger children, Independent/Semi Independent Accommodation for teenagers, 5 Night Shelters/Daycare centres providing drop in facilities, Educational & Training Projects, Feeding programmes and support for project partners operating similar projects in other states in India.

Haven Home Care provides domiciliary personal care to older people within the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board area. We provide social support and personal care for people with physical limitations/ disabilities, mental health problems or sensory loss / impairment, and the elderly mentally infirm. We work closely with health and social care to provide effective, integrated services.

The main objective of the Charity is to provide a service and asistance which will enable members to live in their own homes and communities longer and to enhance their mental stimuation and quality of life.This is achieved by providing the following:-Transport to and from the CentreHot Three Course MealPersonal Care Need MetHairdressing ServiceLibrary ServiceLaundry Service etc.

Support includes help with debts, food, parking, toys, grants, respite, trauma therapy, bereavement care, sibling support, specialist equipment, clothing, medicine storage, and signposting. We also offer gifts, extra magic experiences, and campaign for change, therefore easing burdens for families facing childhood cancer.

Vasculitis UK tries to support people in the UK with any of the 21 different types. They do this through providing information both online, social media and written text. By providing research grants to try to find a cure or better treatment for sufferers. By supporting carers and families and help them to understand the condition. By being advocates with the medical professionals.

The Charity has a Licence to provide elderly day care services from a building known as the Westway Centre in Caterham. We are open 5 days a week and pre Covid were providing meals and other activities ( keep fit) plus entertainments. We were also open for Sunday Lunches once a month. Since March 2020 we have been providing outreach services to the most vulnerable locally.

Step (UK) Ltd is an international development charity, working to improve the lives of vulnerable children in the Kurdish region of Iraq. We sponsor front-line work such as a children's drop-in centre and more strategic work such as the implementation of the first foster care policy in the region. We have also sponsored child protection projects in camps for refugees and displaced Iraqi people.

To provide facilities and activities in the interest of the social welfare of the older inhabitants in the town of Farnham and the surrounding area. To run a community day centre to secure the same and to provide fresh wholesome meals to the said inhabitants of Farnham either at the Centre or in their homes through the Community Meals Service.

Improving the well-being of older people who are in need of social inclusion because they are housebound or socially isolated, through 1) OPAL Clubs operating in Frodsham, Helsby, Kelsall, Malpas, Tarporley and Tattenhall; 2) Providing community inclusion services; 3) Providing breaks for carers of older people in rural areas; 4) Helping older people use the internet.

We ar geared towards families of children and adults with special needs .We are widely known for our weekend breaks that grant those special individuals, who happen to have special needs a fantastic time whist also giving their families a much needed break.We provide them with recreational, educational and social opportunities and respite care with a view to improving their condition of life

To relieve sickness & poverty amongst children & young people through the provision and operation of The Good Life orphanage in Kenya.To advance in life and relieve the needs of the children by providing financial support to the orphanage & school.To provide a good quality education at St Bernadette Mary School which adjoins The Good Life Orphanage in Kenya.
