Alzheimer's Society staff and volunteers provide services to people affected by dementia, including day care and home care, support and befriending services across England, Wales, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. We provide information and training, and every year we invest in research. We campaign for the rights of people with dementia and those who care for them.

Providing care and support for older people and people with learning disabilities. BEN provides financial support and facilities to people and their close dependants, resident in the UK or the Republic of Ireland, who are working or have worked in a qualifying trade or industry.BEN currently operates Welfare Offices in Ascot, Birmingham, Northern England and Scotland; Nursing and Residential Centres in Ascot, Rugby, and Berwick-upon-Tweed; Day Care Centre in Coventry.

The charity runs three hospices providing specialist palliative care services to patients through inpatient and day care, clinics, support at home from teams of community nurses and a 24-hour helpline. Families receive social, pastoral and bereavement support from teams of professionals at all three hospices. An education centre provides training and education for professionals and the public.

Hospiscare provides a holistic palliative care service to patients with life-limiting illnesses. This includes symptom control, emotional, spiritual and social care. Hospiscare delivers care in the community, e.g. in patients' homes, care homes or community hospitals; in the hospice which has 12 in-patient beds and a daycare facility for up to 60 patients a week; and in the local acute hospital.

Freeways provides a person centred range of activities tailored to meet individual needs. The Charity provides sheltered flats for older people in Gloucestershire as well as a Residential Home and Nursing Home. The Charity also offers day care services for those living with dementia in the wider community as well as a weekly social club.The Trust also administers a "Relief in Need" grant making branch of the charity and the former Gloucester District Nursing Charity.

Eckling Grange is a leading local provider of Christian care. It has a 60 room Residential and Dementia Care Home for the elderly, providing personal care and accommodation. 20 of the rooms have additional security, providing secure accommodation. It also provides integrated sheltered accommodation in its 54 bungalows, as well as domiciliary, respite and day care services.

The relief of poverty in particular in the care and treatment and provision of day care facilities for persons who are homeless or suffering from psychological or physical infirmity or who by reason of adverse circumstances are thereby in need of help.
